Success Approach #1

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

As a true believer in additional perspectives I am always seeking those of others as I research information for my blogs. What I am about to share with you, is a result of what I found at http://kiikoncepts.com/ by Michaela Kennedy. I refer to this as Success Approach #1, the first of seven approaches she refers to as “7 Success Mindset Tips to Improve Your Daily Life”, and I wholeheartedly agree with her that these are worthy of consideration.

What makes each of these approaches so important is that they depend first and foremost on you. As a former certified small business consultant, the very first issue we dealt with concerning the success of our clients was to assist them in understanding and developing their “Primary Aim”. Your business or work may not be your primary purpose in life; however by indentifying your real purpose, you can explore and determine how your business could contribute to it. In the process we hoped to help our clients appreciate their passion for life and a means which could improve their chances for experiencing it.

Now I am not writing this exclusively for business owners, as it truly applies to all of us, and something you may certainly want to pass on to your children and grandchildren.

Success Approach #1 has to do with criticizing yourself and getting nowhere. Millions upon millions of people do this daily, many without even realizing it. It gets you absolutely nowhere and yet every single second of the day, our bodies, our minds and our relationships are subject to change.

Are you aware of what self-esteem really is? Do you understand what type of an impact it can have and when it can become the foundation of the Success Approach #1? Self-esteem describes a person’s overall sense of self-worth or personal value. No doubt almost all of us experience challenges with self-esteem at various times in our lives, and this can be true especially during our teens when we are trying to figure out who we are and how we are supposed to live our lives. Unfortunately that can amount to a distortion if we learn primarily from someone who is unaware of their own limiting beliefs.

So where does one go from here? Look up the meaning of enrapture and ask yourself “Can I fully agree with that personally?” Be candid here, because you are not here simply to read and learn what Success Approach #1 is about. You’re here to learn how to apply it and to do so, so that you are able to enjoy more life.
