My first YouTube video

So I put together my first YouTube video and posted it. I am going to be making a regular practice of this, so be prepared! I think I will try to do one a day, until I am as good as Dave Wood or Dave Sharpe… might take a couple of tries yet! I have to get to about 160 to beat the Pastor Dan Loewen, but it’s on my list I may actually add links to mine so people can find his, just because I respect what he does and have no issues sharing the spotlight I decided not to edit, or rehearse, or even script this. I figured that I might as well show you how I really am, as apposed to a slick little schpeel. As a matter of fact, here’s my video now:

“So, I think we’re working. Yes, no….maybe? Perfect. This will be my first recording just to tell you who I am and what I am all about. My name is Dan Loewen I work in a warehouse,generally. I was trained to be a small business manager, but didn’t really like being a manager in a small businesses, and I, by opportunity, have wandered into a group of amazing people that just totally floor me. Every day they have some new and exciting way to help and train me, and I am really enjoying myself with it. SO that’s what I am up too.

I live in the Fraser Valley of B.C. Canada, probably one of the best places in the world to live. You can go skiing, golfing and swimming in the ocean all on the same day. It’s just beautiful out here. Not that i have, I’m not much of a skier, I mean nose breaks and stuff like that, but you know, things happen. Also, I am a family guy, I have two midgets, I have a nine year old boy, and a five year old daughter, and you might hear them yelling and screaming in the background every once in awhile. I have a beautiful wide named Rockie, and normally we’re just kind of home bodies, and when we aren’t working we’re usually here with the kids enjoying our farm. Yes, we do live on a farm, it’s a beautiful 40 acres, but we rent the house here, we don’t actually have anything to do with the farming part of it. So it’s just kind of a really nice big yard for us and the dog to walk around in, we just enjoy ourselves there. What else? I’ve been with the Empower Network for awhile, and am quite enjoying their stuff. The video training and stuff from Dave Wood and Dave Sharpe is just amazing. So if you get a chance to take a peak at that, I think you will really be impressed. And if you ever need any information or if you want to look at any of the video stuff, no problem I am more than happy to help you with that. I think that’s about it as far as who I am and what I do. I do a lot of reading, and writing. I mean if you haven’t seen my blog, or are not on it now, I have about 260 something posts right now, which I will probably end up doubling up over the next little while because I have a thing going on with um, you know what never mind that, it’s a test I am doing, you guys don’t need to know, it’s just a lot of extra bits and pieces (really it is just testing a few theories on traffic… nothing too exciting, but I will publish the results to the blog if you are interested ) But yeah, that’s me in a nutshell. Anytime you want to touch base my address is danloewen AT gmail DOT com and that’s about it. As long as you don’t put something salesy in the subject line, I’ll open it, I’ll check it out. I just get a lot of spam in my account, so, I think I get about 4-600 emails a day (only about 100 are spam ) it keeps me occupied, that’s it for tonight, at least for this post anyway. I’ll go into a little more depth and in the next video I’ll probably do some stuff on traffic tips and maybe something on what the Empower Network is or at least what it is as far as I’m concerned and I’ll talk to you later. SO I went to look for a picture to post in this blog… “Amateur Video” is not the search term you want to use… just so you know I put a transcription in here as well for my first YouTUbe vide and that will be something I will continue to do, I hope. The software I was using to do it with didn’t work out very well, so I might just put in a short form, or bullet point version, especially if I get a little chatty I know sometimes it’s easier to read something, and other times you want to take notes so it’s nice to have. I will check it and edit out the extra Uh’s and um’s, but it should be fairly accurate (I may add a little here and there to see if you are paying attention ) If you are looking to contact me, I’ve realized that I haven’t posted my email address ever.

There you go It would help if you put something like EmpowerNetwork or Personal in the subject, I get a lot of spam, and would hate to accidentally delete one of your emails by mistake.
