201 out of 247 Ways to get Website Traffic
Happy “Website traffic” Friday
Are you already making weekend plans or are you getting all of your work done first? In accordance to today’s website traffic tip, there is no reason why the weekend can’t become a mini-vacation for you, remember you work hard, and deserve a break!!! My weekend plans have already been laid out for me. Part of the joys of being a family man! But I do, from time to time, make a point of throwing everything on the back burner, pack up the wee folk, and go. This weekend, looking like the last warm one of the year is going to be no different. After we do an extensive amount of yard work tomorrow, Sunday will be all about getting into the lake one last time before it’s to cold to do it until next year. Just a note here, I am not one of those Canadians that revels in the cold, I do not swim in the ocean on January first, and I would live on a tropical beach drinking fruity drinks all day if I figured the kids would let me get away with it So seeing as my mind is already in “vacation” mode let’s just go ahead and get started with todays website traffic tip!

I am a huge advocate of time off. I have taken as much as 6 months off at once, and while I recommend it highly, I do not recommend doing it all on credit That took me several years to pay off, but it was awesome. Six months living in Adelaide Australia, followed by a few weeks in China. If my plane ticket wasn’t about to expire, Russia was next on the list. Now that I am a family man, it’s a lot more difficult to get in the relaxation that was an almost every weekend occurrence when I was single and care free. But it is so important to recharge and refresh. That’s why I like this tip so much. I know every time I go on vacation, unless my mother is along… I’ll come back refreshed with all kinds of new website traffic building ideas. The first few days I tend to be a little like the picture here with the guy being dragged to the car, but I get into relaxed mode pretty quick. Usually the first day back I have so much I want to say I spend days typing and writing, and the next week or so editing. So if you are suffering from a little writer’s block, this may be a great way to get back at it If you can tie it in to a business convention or meeting, you might also be able to write part of it off as a business expense. How nice is that? I am by no means an accountant though (Ask my business accounting professor in college if you need any confirmation on that ) So before you go out and take a world wide cruise first class with the family and expect the government to foot the bill, you may just want to talk to a professional first

I know this seems a little outside the normal type of posts I do here, but believe me, anything that can give your brain time to relax and subconsciously work on your business is a good thing. Remember when you heard that song playing and for the life of you, you couldn’t think who it was and it was driving you crazy? But later on in the evening when you had completely forgotten about it you remembered? That’s kind of what happens when you take a break from business. Your brain starts to work subconsciously behind the scenes to put together all of the information you need to help you get your business running better. So the next time you are feeling a little overworked, take a vacation, even a 15 minute one, it can make a huge difference. Any of you that are members of the 10/10 formula team (if you aren’t message me, and I will show you how) can get a link to an amazing audio rack that in 20 minutes, can give you the equivalent of 2 hours rest. I use it whenever time allows at work, and a fair number of nights to settle down a busy mind so I can sleep. That’s about it for today, my internet should be up and running tonight, and we should be back to double posts and or video posts by next week. So have a great night, and I will see you tomorrow!!!DL
