Happy “Free Backlinking” Sunday!!!

I’ve been wanting to touch on this for some time here, because I have noticed a decidedly poor number of backlinks to my stuff. That is my fault, I didn’t look into it until recently and I should have been on it sooner. Bonus for you though, I do some extra work, you get to reap the rewards I just noticced that it looks like it’s 248 Free Backlinking services, it is in fact step numbet 248 of our 247 ways to get Website traffic list… sorry for any confusion. I was recently watching one of David Wood’s videos in the Blogging Bootcamp section of their blog (Yes, not only do they run the Empower Network, these guys actually blog too… tells you something about how important blogging every days is huh? If you haven’t seen the videos, I really think you are missing out. There is SOOOOOOOOO much free information there, you won’t believe it. As a matter of fact, here’s the link to their blog. As soon as you finish reading today’s post go take a look. Or if this is somewhere around the beginning of November, I should have finished my 247 Ways to get Website Traffic tutorials and will put together a break down on each video. Sounds good doesn’t it But if you watch the first one, scroll down the side until you see BOOTCAMP (7) and click it, it will bring you the rest of the 7 bootcamp videos. They are awesome.

These guys :http://www.link-referral.com/ have a great information on Backlinks and other SEO, well worth the read. I will let you know how well the backlinking service actually works though…. ** Just a quick note, I clicked the link in my preview page, and it actually backlinked to this page, so it does work But don’t SPAM them!!!
But below is what they ask you to put on your page, and click every time you want to update. Kind of like the pinging services we will be looking at tomorrow.

Then I found this one as well, so maybe we can try a little game with them later and see who is better?

Currently all I have seen them do is open up their URL when clicked… so we will cross our fingers and see. But really these are two out of almost 6 million links at Google, so go poke around, find some interesting items, and post them here in my comments.

Free Backlinking, there are negatives…

I really do think it would be in your best interests to check out Google’s policy with backlinking. If it were as simple as just getting backlinks, everyone would be buying them.. and I have seen offers for 100,000 and even a million backlinks. The problem is that if they are garbage links, Google won’t rate them. So they become useless. So make sure to take that into consideration before going gung ho and buying 1 million backlinks

Do remember though, the more backlinks, the more website traffic, the more website traffic, the more money. I’m going to call it quits for this post, but have a great night!!! SPend some time browsing the millions of available sites for free backlinking information, and start setting them up. The bootcamp videos, specifically number 2, have some great ideas for backlinking, and one of them has one that can get you an extra 45 social bookmarks every time you post something new. Apart from that, if you haven’t set yourself up with the blogging platform here, you are missing out, and will definitely be scrambling to catch up when the new version comes out. On an aside, three more great (but not necassarily free) tools are Onlywire, SocialMonkee, and Hootsuite they are great alternatives to Ping.fm and Pixelpipe which are now no longer running. THese ones are a more social network backlinking and can be even more powerful than the other services. Now I am off to get my backlinks improved, just for fun maybe I should keep a running tally I will probably use these guys for tracking : Ahrefs
