What Google Ranking Factors do I need to consider?

If you want to create a following online,there are many things you need to consider.

But before I talk about that I want to show you how my blog ranks in Alexa. This is a good way to measure how you are going online. It’s easy,  just type your URL in and press enter….no account needed.

So this is how my blog ranked on the 6th of July 2013. I’m sorry that it’s difficult to read the date but you can go to alexa if you don’t believe me

And this is how my blog ranked on Alexa just SEVEN short days later…..

RESULT:

My blog ranking fell nearly 50 000 places in Alexa in just ONE WEEK!

If you haven’t heard of my story before, here is a quick run-through:

• I grew up on a farm and had very little tech/internet experience up until a few years ago. So I’m still a Farmboy at heart!
• I didn’t really know what a blog was until about 10 months ago.
• I am by no means ANY DIFFERENT to you….

So this means that you can DO THIS TOO!!

So, what Google Ranking Factors do I need to consider?

SO the main points to Google rankings are:

1. ON page SEO (keyword targeting ect)
2. OFF page SEO (Backlinks etc)
3. Social media syndication (This doesn’t mean just posting to networks, there must be interraction)

Forgive me if I have forgotten some but these are some main ones.

There are also some factors that aren’t  thought about that much like Site Speed

SO….Is it difficult to rank?

Answer: No, not at all, we are in the information age, all the info is out there, it’s just a matter of DOING IT!!

Also,

When I say…Google Ranking factors...I actually mean getting Authority with the major search engines. There are others like Bing etc which have to be considered but Google is the main one.
