Rush Clockwork Angels Review
Clockwork angels is the latest album by Canadian rock band Rush. Their 19th studio album, it was recorded between April 2010 and December 2011. The album was released in North America in June of 2012.
Fans and critics had no need to wait for the Clockwork Angels rewiew to appreciate this long awaited studio release. The album immediately topped the Canadian Albums Chart and made it to number 2 on the billboard 200 list.
Since you’re probably here for a full Clockwork angels review, I will start by saying the following:
The unmistakable sound of Rush is clearly distinguishable at the onset, yet, the tracks are very unique in character. It never ceases to amaze me how many different sounding tunes this fantastic power trio can come up with.
These guys are probably the the greatest rock musicians who have ever lived. Loved and respected by both fans and fellow musicians, their hard work does not go unnoticed on Clockwork Angels review. Geddy’s powerful voice and loud bass playing, Alex’s unlimited guitar riff sounds and of course Neil Peart’s unmistakably precise percussion are richer sounding than ever on the Clockwork Angels review album.

At a age when most musicians are hanging their careers up and beginning to slow down, Rush are continuously improving their sound and forever striving to embetter themselves.
Geddy, Neil and Alex have been on tour for about nine months promoting Clockwork angels.
True fans know that the the first two tracks on the album, caravan, and BU2B (short for brought up to believe) have been played at concerts and 2010 and 2011. Both of these were released as singles and are very catchy. The wreckers was also released as a single after the launch of the album, in July of 2012.
Martin Popoff, chief editor at Brave words/ Bloody Knuckles online music review magazine, gave the album a perfect 10 on 10 score. Popoff was also quoted as saying that this album has more purpose and focus than any other Album released by Rush in their 34 year history.
Upon listening to the album for the first time, it does not take long for one to notice that the progressive rock and complex arrangements are still very much a part of Rush in this Clockwork angels review. And yet you can stomp your feet or snap your fingers to every tune. This is signature of the fantastic musicians which Rush are.
The album is made up of 12 tracks, of which more than half will endure as fan favorites, including headlong flight, the garden the wreckers, the anarchist, bu2b, Caravan and many more.
Clockwork angels revolves around a storied theme, based on a young man and his journey to follow his dream. Travelling across the splendor of his world, he comes across many colorful characters exotic cities, carnivals and a watchmaker who guides him in the most bizarre way.
The Clockwork Angels story has been released as a novel which was released on September 4, 2012.
