Key Points for Copywrite
Honesty is the best policy
Though it is necessary for any business to appear as the best among its competitors, it pays to stay honest and not paint a picture that makes one feel as if the product or service is outlandish and promises more than it can fulfill. This requires one to copywrite emails that are honest and do not beat around the bush.
Try to empathize
This is perhaps the most important aspect of email marketing that many ignore or avoid to their own detriment. People buy or take a decision in this regard when they are comfortable. When they see a message coming from someone they know or feel is their friend then are they more likely to believe the contents of the mail. When readers of your emails feel you are one of their own and that you understand their problems, you are more likely to succeed in selling a product or service than when you appear to be a total stranger. One should learn to copywrite emails in such a fashion that readers should see it coming from a friend.

Say it in short
People are living a fast paced life and they do not have a lot of time to spend on messages that are not even necessary. Consider less is more as your policy when writing emails to market your product though do not forget to include all the salient features of your product or service. To get your message across, it is not length but substance that is more important.
Keep sentences short and simple
No matter what your target group, remember that people avoid reading hard to understand messages. They like to read what is short and simple as they do not have to exert their brain to get the meaning out of the message. However, present your ideas in a funny manner so as to keep the message interesting and entertaining. To copywrite successfully, you have to appear not as very knowledgeable but someone who cares.
Choose subject line carefully
More than half of the emails meant for marketing get deleted by the recipients even before they are opened. This partially happens because their subject does not appear to be exciting enough to compel readers to open and read them. On the contrary, a subject line that arouses curiosity and promises something that looks attractive makes a reader click on the email most of the times.
