Coldplay Live Australian Tour
Last night I had the chance to go and see Coldplay live for the first time as a part of their Australian Tour. I have had many friends go to see Coldplay live in the past, and now I know exactly why they loved it so much! Their show was held at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, I had never been to such a large scale event before so this was another first for me.
As I arrived at the crowded Suncorp Stadium and walked through our gate, the staff handed everyone a little wrist band to put on:
The only thing we were told was that it was part of the show. After shuffling through the crowd at the gate I was then able to see that the place was full, It had to be a sold out show – this stadium holds about 50000 people! By far the biggest Concert I’ve been to yet.

Coldplay Live – They can put on a show!
Once I found my seat and sat down there was about 5 minutes until they were scheduled to go on stage and then 99 Problems by Jay-Z started blasting out of the speakers. This got the crowd very enthusiastic and pumped up, once that finished the lights dimmed and then everyone just went CRAZY. This is when all the lasers started beaming, fireworks light up, fog going everywhere and then everyone’s wrist band light up as well!
(All those little lights are all wrist bands!)
The band appeared to be loving it and Chris Martin was jumping around the stage seemed to be giving it everything they had, it was great to see some people passionate about what they do.
Most of the songs they played were from Viva La Vida & their latest album Mylo Xyloto, but they still played the classics like Clocks & Yellow. Overall this is the best show I’ve ever seen, the interacting with the crowd and the lighting show were amazing, I would certainly recommend going to see them if you ever have the chance!
