Passion Fruit and Mandarin Gluten Free Flourless Cake Recipe
For a long time I’ve been cooking flourless cakes using almond meal.
I went to make one today as a special surprise for my girlfriend but we didn’t have any Bananas or Cocoa! (What will I do now!)
Being very resourceful and up for a challenge I decided to use a few ingredients I had in my shelf instead. I had a can of Passion fruit and mandarin pieces in syrup so I though, why not use these instead!
What I ended up with was a Gluten Free Flourless Cake Recipe using passion fruit and mandarin, please share and enjoy my recipe!
What you Will Need for the Gluten Free Flourless Cake Recipe:
- 4 Cups of Almond Meal/Flour
- 1 Can of Passion fruit with Syrup
- 1 Can of Mandarin Pieces in Syrup
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Sugar (for a sweeter taste) – Optional
How to Make the Gluten Free Flourless Cake Recipe:
Firstly, blend up your fruit until it has become a puree and then combine all your ingredients into a large bowl.
Once all ingredients are in together start mixing away until they are all combined!
Next step is simple, put it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius and cook for around 40 minutes, or until it has cooked all the way through and has a nice crispness to the top.
