I had to laugh watching the above video of Super Affiliates David Wood and David Sharpe as they both clowned around, having fun and making money…
And in this short note I am going to share with you a Key to their Success.. A key that many don’t understand that can make all the difference to you when you apply it to your own life and business…
But first, regarding Stuart Wilde’s quote, “If you deny yourself access to the child within because you’re too serious, you also block your connection to the divine Light”…
You see,what I have observed as being true is that little kids are much more creative than adults… Why?.. Because they live from the heart, not the head… And so they are in touch with the Divine Light of life…

* As we grow old and try to conform *
But sadly, as we grew older and conformed to the matrix systems of this world found in the negative aspects of the educational and employment systems… It was then that we lost ourselves….
Why?…
… Because instead of living from the heart we set out to live as square pegs in round holes…
And in doing so, the child within us died… And we wondered why we were so unhappy?…
Unhappy because we no longer spontaneously had fun like a child…
Unhappy because we no longer laughed spontaneously like a child…
Unhappy because we no longer created effortlessly like a child…
Unhappy because we no longer found joy in the simple things of life like a child…
But thankfully there was a way out of our self imposed prison…
And this way out came from….
From…. Guarding our hearts from all that would steal its child like innocence….

The Assless Chaps of Austin Texas

Dreaming of Assless Chaps…
When I found out that Dave & Dave, or ‘The Double D’s’ as I like to call them, since double D’s are always a good time, were going to wear Assless Chaps on stage in Austin, I immediately had input and suggestions.
The idea for an intro video was already on the table, which immediately made me think of Ace and Gary from Saturday Night Live.
How perfect would it have been to start scene 1 with both of them waking up in the same bed with the assless chaps already on, and super hero costumes with D’s on their chest.
They could put on masks like the Lone Ranger, cowboy hats, trench-coats, and ride to the event on white horses to the Ace and Gary theme song music, end the video, and then make their grand entrance on stage.
I laughed for days, hoping patiently that they would implement my suggestions.

A Tear Jerking Moment
There was a magical moment in the event in Austin, when David Sharpe brought his family up on stage. There was a time in his life when Alcohol and addiction plagued him, and was ruining his life.
David overcame that, has been clean and sober for 5 years, and recently won the right to have his 11 year old daughter back. When he brought his daughter, mom and dad up on stage, I had tears swelling up in my eyes.
You have to be at the events, and present in the moment, to truly understand how powerful this can be. It’s an amazing thing to witness the power of someone that struggles all the way from the bottom, and rises to the very top.

* A Wrench in the Plan *
As you can see we have two conflicting energies working here:
1. Full grown adults that want to be hilarious and risk their lives by wearing Assless Chaps, onstage in Texas.
2. A great father that brought his 11 year old daughter to an event.
Dammit, I was hoping for the most hilarious marketing video in the history of marketing, but I guess it will just have to wait. For the record Dave, I would have worn Assless Chaps on stage in front of my kids, so next time don’t be such a wussy about it!
