And what did Rich Dad have to say about having a Higher Purpose Business Mission?
Well lets take a snapshot of Rich Dads life through Robert’s eye’s….
As Robert Kiyosaki recalls, when he was 16 it amazed him how Rich Dad who was 40 years old at the time could successfully operate so many different companies all in different industries.
For eg, Rich Dad owned a restaurant business, a fast food business, a convenience store chain(a forerunner to the 7 to 11 stores), a truck company, a real estate construction business, and a property management business .
To quote Robert Kiyosaki regarding this he said:-
“I knew he was following his plan to have his businesses buy his true investments, which for him was real estate, but it was amazing how many businesses he could run all at the same time. When I asked him how he could start, own, and manage so many businesses, his response was to draw the B-I Triangle.
And regarding the B-I Triangle this is what Rich Dad taught Robert:-
Rich Dad taught me… “A business needs both a spiritual and a business mission to be successful, especially at the beginning”…
Rich dad chose the words “spiritual” and “business. ” He said, “Many people start a business only to make money. Just to make money is not a strong enough mission. Money alone does not provide enough fire, drive, or desire. The mission of a business should fill a need that the customers want, and if it fills that need, and fills it well, the business will begin to make money.”

Henry Fords Higher Purpose Mission
For example… Rich Dad shared with Robert Kiyosaki how Henry Ford was a man inspired firstly by a spiritual mission and secondly by a business mission… As Henry Fords mission was to make the automobile car affordable for everyone, not just the rich.
So what was Henry Fords Higher Purpose Mission for his Business?…Well, it was this:-
“Democratize the automobile.”
Rich Dad going on to teach Robert that Huge Businesses are built when the spiritual mission and business mission are both strong and in harmony with each other…
After all their is so much more to life than just making money…
After all their is so much more to life than just making money(or looking good if you are the zoolander type lol )… Because at the end of the day money is just a symbol of the energy we give out to others through the products and services we sell…
And money should only ever be a means to an end, never the end in itself…
Yes money… a way to give wonderful experiences to those we love and beyond… Like a full cup that overflows to all those around us…
