Great Ending Plays To Win Basketballgames

The one thing that I love is that sometimes you have no idea how  basketballgames will end.  Winning basketballgames is the only way to keep your job as a coach!  Sometimes the best plays of all basketballgames are at the end of regulation.  As a coach, your ability to be clear on everyone’s responsibilities and role is critical when you draw up the play to win basketballgames … the kids ability to execute the play is simply icing on the cake!

Basketballgames Like Above … What Happened?

In the video above the team defending is my daughters school.  They played a great game, down by 17 at one point late in the half, to fight their way back and eventually take the lead with 8 seconds left.

The play above is what transpires in those waning seconds.  As with all basketball games this one would be no different.  Exciting and full of surprise.  THe visitpors take the ball out and quickly advane the ball into the half court.  My daughter is guarding the ball and allows her to penetrate to the elbow area.  A common area that all kids should try to penetrate the teammates under the basket did not step up quick enough to help in the transition.  A team effort to comeback and a team effort to lose the game this must be used as a confidence builder and a head scratcher.   our ability to defend the pay for 8 seconds would cost us a game.  The girls have 8 basketballgames remaining and lets hope they can all be so exciting with many the happy ending .
