We ask if you’re Shamlessly Promoting Yourself on Social Media Sites because if you’re not, you SHOULD be!
This is the only way to get your name out there and attract others to you and what you’re doing.
First of all, for those who are dedicated followers of ours, we apologize again for not being as consistent as we should in blogging. Due to some health issues, it has been very challenging to keep up with it.
Now, back to promoting yourself on Social Media sites…..
Since we’ve come online and began network marketing in 2010, we have had many ups and downs all while sharing our experiences with the world. We have had success, we have experienced some failures, but have learned a substantial amount of info on what to do and what not to do. We really enjoy helping others and this is why it’s so important to promote yourself via Social Media Sites.
This is how it works…you learn from others successful leaders in the network marketing industry or anyone who is successful in general, apply what you learn, then you share it with others on social media thus attracting them to you as they now see you as the leader. Simple and dupicable. Right? (BTW-this does not mean share content word for word, definitely take it all in and rephrase it according to your own perception. Plagiarizing is NOT cool!
Due to us branding ourselves and being totally transparent, we have had many people partner up with us simply because they know, like, and trust us. These people have found value out of what we’ve shared with them and they have become lifelong friends and business partners. This is why promoting yourselves on Social Media sites is so important.
Simply by sharing and applying what you learn from others in the network marketing industry, you are branding yourself as a leader and others will look to you for your expertise. We may not be guru’s but we do what other successful leaders are doing and try to keep it as simple and duplicable as possible.
We have a ton of people call us and write us asking for advice. Do you see the advantages of promoting yourself on Social Media sites yet?

While exploring where to jump into the home based business arena…I (thankfully) discovered Brian and Felicia…and your own WWB&F site. And, I am very impressed AND very much like what I see, since you are involved in a variety of online businesses. Guys, this is sooooo right up my alley!
And because your site clearly shows that you’ve got your ducks in a row, I’d like to ask you if you’d be willing to help us…R & B in Colorado, create a very similar online presence …and website. (i.e. workwithrandb, etc.) to also include Empower + GVO + Leadskimmer, etc.
We are both over 60 and absolutely need to create a similar online presence as we face an uncertain financial ‘retirement’ future. As a former pastor of a series of small churches for 17 years, I was unable to set aside any significant ‘retirement’ nest egg up to this point. So my only option & only hope for retirement income would be to establish a strong online presence NOW AND build an income that would carry over into those retirement years for us. Betty, an exhibit coordinator for an association of Christian schools, is also very close to being forced to retire after 17 years of diligent service.
So, Brian and Felicia, our backs are somewhat against the wall and we need someone like yourselves who could help this baby-boomer couple get going ASAP. Ideally, we’d have a very similar site to what you have with very similar assortment of online money makers…plus our own causes that are all ministry related, including a ministry that I would dearly love to start when God opens that door…and you just might be the answer to those prayers if you could help us do this!

Pretty cool, eh?! We just LOVE getting emails, comments, and phone calls like this. People helping people is what it’s about and all because we share our content on social media!
So, you have a company website, how are you going to drive traffic to it? Well, as we’ve said in the past…this is a people business- and people join people, not businesses. So, you have to promote yourself first.
How do you promote yourself on Social Media sites?
- Make sure if you have a website and an “About me” page, that you post the “About me” page onto Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Blog consistently, if you don’t have a blog and don’t have the patience or money to pay someone to set it up for you, go : (share everything and anything, be your true unique self!)
- If you have a blog, make sure you have an opt-in form so that you can build your list
- Offer your list something of value for FREE (i.e. ebook, training product, newsletter, etc.)
- Post the links to your blog posts in Social Media sites groups or forums, even your profile page if you so choose, but never spam others walls with it, especially if it’s some sort of business opportunity or product. Always read the terms or conditions of the groups or forums.
- Shoot videos talking about what you’ve learned, what your about, and how you can help others (we need to do more of this too). Stepping out of your comfort zone can be very challenging, but rewarding.
- Same as above, share the content with others via Social Media sites, including YouTube.
- Be sure when you’re posting your content out there on Social Media sites to get involved and give back. Comment and syndicate others stuff as well. What you give, you get back! Have the abundance mindset!
