Allow me to share a few tips on how to blog daily and achieve successful results:
WRITE FOR YOUR INTENDED AUDIENCE
Drawing natural traffic to your site requires posting excellent, interesting and unique content that captures readers’ attention. Consider writing about a monumental learning opportunity, an unexpected experience with a customer or exciting news about an upcoming product/service.
The key is not to ‘sell’ within your blog posts. Keep information topical and provide some entertaining verbiage that is entertaining and intriguing. Bland, commonplace and generic posts will rapidly drive readers elsewhere.
Entice your audience with tantalizing topics, tempting titles and compelling content … a winning combination designed to compel audiences to read, share and return — time and time again.
KEYWORDS MATTER
I am not an SEO expert, but I do know that search engine optimization is vitally important. So, if you are ‘technically challenged’ like I am, do yourself a favor and stop the madness!
There are a variety of good WordPress plugins specifically designed to keep blog posts properly optimized. Consider investigating WP Yoast, All in one SEO Pack and Platinum SEO Pack. You can also conduct an Internet search and explore the multitude of SEO options available for your specific site.
Here is my TOP TIP >>> Use just ONE keyword and focus on it throughout the blog post. Be mindful of keyword density. The last thing you want is your content to be punished by search engines for keyword stuffing.
INTERESTING CONTENT
One obstacle standing in the way of many small online business owners, network marketers and entrepreneurs is the all-important question, “What should I write about?” When blogging daily, the challenge is to continuously come up with content worthy of writing about and sharing.
I recently learned to write about anything! Yes, you read correctly… search engines don’t just care about quality content. Be sure your blog has an attention grabbing title, incorporates a predetermined keyword and, as mentioned earlier, is interesting and entertaining.
Search for current news, videos, and books — anything worthy of sharing with your audience. When sharing someone else’s ‘stuff,’ be clear about why you’ve chosen to share the information and always, always, always give credit, via backlink, to that person’s ‘stuff.’
Here’s my challenge — blog daily for the next 60 days. Productively promoting your business means doing whatever delivers the best results in the shortest time with the least amount of expense.
