For example, this Blo.gl post NBA Star Steve Nash Announced 3 Things You Do Not Know About Him got onto the first page of Google within 48 hours!  (I just checked, and it is still on 1st page, 2nd slot with more than 1.4 million results)

This online tool can be a great way for first time bloggers to add content to your blog.  However, it is important that you add unique images, change up the title and to make sure that the Blo.gl content is linked to the Facebook post or directly to the content that is shared by the sources you select in Blo.gl.  These are things I show in the video.

I explain in my video how you can get more tips on how to use Blo.gl more effectively.

  1. Sounds interesting. Need to do a little more research. Thanks for the information, Lynn. Will certainly look into it.

  2. Hi Lynn, It’s not the first time when I hear about blogl- I’ve seen at one of my facebook friends 2 weeks ago. Very interesting concept – Tissa has created something to help beginners get going with blogging. I will also need to make more research on it. Can’t wait to see your next video with additional info on blogl. Thanks a lot for sharing your post. Many Blessings.

  3. Blo.gl is definitely an interesting concept. The issue I’ve found with it is that I don’t want every Facebook post landing on my blog… especially if there’s a disconnect in subject matter. But the idea is promising with some fine tuning!

  4. Great post Lynn. I agree blo.gl is definitely an awesome tool and your video is great in explaining how it works. I will be using this. Thanks so much for sharing!

  5. Hey Lynn, looks like a very nifty tool indeed, loved your video tutorial, thanks for sharing!

  6. Yes you can try it out Carol. I was a little reluctant when it was introduced to me. But once I used it and found out how I could edit it for my purpose, I like using it! Let me know if you do give it a try. Thanks for your thoughts!

  7. Appreciate your comments Dragos and I would just give it a try. Because with the ‘pause’ feature you can let Blo.gl do it’s thing for a few minutes and see how it works. Let me know if you do try it out, and yes, I will be sharing more in the future.

  8. Thanks DrSteve and I don’t want every Facebook post on my blog either. So that is why I like to use the ‘pause’ feature on Blo.gl after running it for a few minutes each day. Then I take a short time to edit. Deleting posts that I don’t want and keeping those that only really provide valuable content that relate to my blog. It still is a great tool that does the heavy work and with getting search engine ranking, I think I will continue using this. Hope that helps give you some ideas how to use this. Thanks DrSteve for your thoughts and comments.

  9. Oh that is good to hear Sherry, thank you. And please be sure to share how you like blo.gl after you start using it.

  10. Appreciate that Alesha, and it really is pretty cool but only if folks use it the way they think is best for them and their purpose of their blog. Appreciate your comments.
