Thought I would Blog About A Milestone

Enough procrastination, right?!!!!!

Well, as you know, my old AddInvestmentGroup.com blog, the one with the gazillion blog posts and the embedded videos and online phone and such, and a medical school online notebook and all the bells and whistles to showcase what I can do on the Tech Side of things…

… passed into oblivion.

And I vowed to “rebuild” …. a tiny wee-bit at a time.

… it was a re-prioritization of which tasks to do first…

… and it came down to the barest choices.

How about just plain considering “SLEEP” as the only “luxury” that you can look forward to?

Sometimes WORK can consume a person that much!

A decision I had to make was made.

And that IS WHY, in only less than 24 hours….

…. I was able to harness the power of my Empower Network Kalatu blog – the great new version – well… we are always improving — and was able to convert TWO YEARS worth of my daily blog posts from the ENV2 version into the Kalatu Blog

…. I exported those blog posts from ENV2 into an XML file, downloaded it into my laptop, and then imported it into my new “being rebuilt” AddInvestmentGroup blog

… And now I am in the process of fixing “broken links” – as expected, when one does a migration of this magnitude.  Out of the 2419 links … well, there’s a couple of hundred broken ones that are yet to be found – and fixed.

And I am fixing them.

Because I can, and I will. 

I really missed blogging.

And it hurt me to see it, first, lost, and then with it’s bare essentials, and then with pictures and more than 20,000 media files reconstructed when I fixed the file structures .

And THEN, I just figured, it will get back up.  That is why I am blogging about this Milestone.

I will start again.  I will begin again.

I am not starting from scratch.  I have all my old blog posts which were in my Empower Network Blog to start with, again.

Please forgive the many, many broken links that you might find as you might be going through some of my old blog posts.

As you know, there are a whole lot of EN Haters, still, that block videos and such, and so some videos are no longer available -but such is life.  Some stay, some go.

I have never left Empower Network, I have not joined anything else – my “shiny ball” was “the job”  – which was and is, in all honesty, something I really do enjoy.

But I want to now face  that other “thing” I also enjoy, which is blogging. Because I share my thoughts and feelings when I blog – it helps me more than it helps others, I think – and it’s great that when I share what I share at times, people get helped or get blessed with it too.

I have had my own fair share of brokenness – just like my broken blog …

… but it can be fixed and it will be fixed.

It will only take some time and some focused effort to get things done.

Over the past nine months, I have only traveled once.  I so regret not having been able to make it to the Empower Network Events – however, it was a “mourning period” for me and I didn’t really feel very “social”, and plus work was such that I was THE ONLY ONE on staff who can do the job.  So, it was what it was.

And there’s so much to learn on our new platform.  And so it IS GOOD and beneficial to reconstruct my stuff, fix my blogs and get it going good again.

Okay… going back to my fixing links again… eventually, it will all get fixed.
