iPas2 System Merging with the Empower Network System

I just signed up last night with the iPas2 system … and I cannot help but take a little “brain break” from it and type out my thoughts ….

… this is actually important for me, (segue … knowing about the scientific side of “Human Computer Interaction” because I did post graduate studies on it, so I find it fascinating…)

so I am now doing an honest to goodness “brain dump”.

What led to my signing up with iPas2 …

I believe my past couple of blog posts led to it….

When I wrote … the blog post:

I actually wrote an update on it … and just inserted it into that July 2015 blog post…

Then I got distracted with checking the keywords “Empower Network Complaints” ….

… the same blog post is NOW on PAGE 1 of Google!

… so anyway … after reading ALL of these “untruths” about Empower Network from other bloggers who are not IN Empower Network …

… I also Googled “iPas2″

And me personally, I cannot ethically write anything about ANYTHING that I do not have any personal knowledge of, or experience with. That’s just me.

And so I just joined iPas2! 🙂

Anyway, try this little experiment out …

… if you are researching any type of online business, especially if you type online businesses like Empower Network, or iPas, or other MLM companies …

…. it’s the SAME bash-marketers blog posts that come up! It seems like to those who might just be researching these other MLM companies… their traffic gets redirected ELSEWHERE!

And you will notice that “everything else” is a SCAM! LOL! Well, of course, except their company!

One thing with me blogging the way I do … when I notice an issue, yes, I will blog about it, but there, in that same blog post, too, is a suggested “solution” that I myself did. Sometimes these blog post just turn into a “How To” because my logic is, since I saw it, others will too.

And since I already was able to figure out a way to fix it, or work around it, why not share the lesson? In a blog post?

So I am putting this blog post “in draft mode” first, and will be like my online notes…

… why? Because those who will buy iPas will also see it, and I will be submitting a ticket so that it can be fixed by the iPas Office, and I am writing a post, so that in case it is not fixed yet, then a new member signs up, then I can point them to this blog post.

My Initial Reaction to the iPas Back Office:

Wow! You cannot go wrong if you just follow the System! 🙂

Minor Issues I have seen (and the solution I did):

1.) Issue: The iPas2 back office only integrates with one Autoresponder Company (as of 10/1/2015) – GetResponse. (It’s an issue with me because I have Aweber. 🙂 ).
My Resolution: I signed up with GetResponse..
2.) Issue: When I tried to load the “campaign” that was part of the iPas system, it won’t load. I was chatting with GetResponse in the wee hours of the morning and they said I should contact iPas).
My Resolution: This “sort of glitch” was happening while I was using Google Chrome. So I switched to another browser “Internet Explorer” and tried doing the same process of clicking ONE button, to connect my iPas Account to my GetResponse account, and everything loaded okay, just like what Chris shown in the step by step 2 minute video on how it should look. (The real issue was the “browser” I used. So the API connection from my Empower Network account to my iPas2 account didn’t happen with Google Chrome, but it went through when I changed my browser to Internet Explorer).
3.) Issue: Some links in the campaign needs updating .. like:
- 3.1) http://ipasoffice.com/legal/whitelist.php?email=cris%40addinvestmentgroup.com, because it has moved..
  - please update to:
    - http://ipas2.com/legal/whitelist.php?email=cris%40addinvestmentgroup.com
- 3.2) In the campaigns / autoresponders there is a field [[leadpageurl]] that generates an error on the email messages, while testing.
  - My solution to this (what I did was I created a “Predefined Field” and named it “leadpageurl”, with the exact URL or website that I wanted that “specific” link to go to. In my example, it went to:
  - This automatically created – on GetResponse – that field “pre_leadpageurl”
  - So I checked each and every link on my email campaign and just added my newly created “shortcut” of the customized field, “ [[pre_leadpageurl]]
- 3.3) I also created another custom field [[myusername]] and just went to each link and tested each. Resolutions to this item # is in GREEN Font. 🙂

Note that Item numbers 1 to 3 are with GetResponse … NOT iPas2. I am noting these here because GetResponse is what the iPas integrates with, so this little blog post might be useful to those like me who just signed up with iPas2 …

… it’s like “User Testing” … part of Human Computer Interaction. (That’s why big companies hire professional beta testers, they even log what they FEEL, while navigating through the Graphic User Interface or system)…

I tried chatting with someone in GetResponse, because as I was checking and testing links and adding the “disclaimer legalese” on each and every email message, that I always include in all of my commercial emails, I tried searching for the exact code from GetResponse’ knowledge base, and there was nothing in there that is equivalent to Aweber’s “Sign Up URL” or Sign Up Date … (in that aspect, it would have taken 2 seconds to just create THAT on Aweber… anyway, I got frustrated after TWO HOURS of looking, and then just decided to tweak my legalese message …)

So if you are looking for the “field code” for your GetResponse emails for Sign Up Date on GetResponse … just add this code on that part of your email where you want the OPT-IN date to appear:

{{ADDED_ON "You subscribed on DAY_ORDINATED of MONTH_NAME, YEAR, it was DAY_NAME"}} .

That line of code shows up like:

You subscribed on 1st of October, 2015, it was Thursday

And I have learned that tip early on at Empower Network in 2012, it was in one of the modules in the “15K Formula Training” – which is now like a “bonus” to the “Team Building Formula” product that we have. It was that Module that Shaqir Hussein taught … on creating emails (Shaqir is one of our Million Dollar earners at Empower Network .. I actually got to meet him during my first event in Austin, Texas – REALLY COOL and NICE GUY! 🙂 He taught a 4-hour module In the 15K Formula Training that is ALSO now part of the New Team Building Product Formula). –

In that Austin event, I was actually VERY LUCKY to have been a “fly on the wall” while Shaqir and Vick walked out at the lobby where I was at, I believe it was the day BEFORE the event at the Hilton in Austin – it was late at night- and they were having a conversation by the lobby .. both of these Empower Network millionaires were BOTH very nice, to me, soft spoken men – I guess that’s why when people from OTHER companies bash the Top Earners at Empower Network, whom they have NOT even personally met, it pains me. It’s like, how dare these other negatrons write as if they have even seen the things that these leaders teach in the Empower Network products! (These bash marketers from other companies do not know what they do not know, they speculate at best, then they blog about these leaders and products, and then redirect traffic to their non-Empower Network deal, or non-iPas2 deal …. I am writing it this way in my blog so that YOU WILL see beyond the negative tactics )

What do you do? SEE IT for yourself. It is MOST DEFINITELY NOT TRUE that you cannot cancel or get refunds if you ASK for it and follow the refund policies in place.

With the iPas Products, you have a 30 Day Refund period. With the Empower Network products, you have a strict 14 Day Refund period.

Anyway, I digressed because I ended up putting a link to the Video Summary of my Austin Event, where I met all of these people who have inspired me “from seemingly far away” … like I just saw them or know them, either from their blog posts, or videos, and they have helped me believe in this internet marketing thing! And then I have met them personally, and you can’t help but love on them because they are actually very nice in person, too!

And then I remember, one of the pics I have with Shaqir, Vick was the one who took that picture, and then, the picture with Vick? Shaqir took that picture! 🙂

That was awesome meeting THEM and they were BOTH very nice people who have “that type” of online personalities that just INSPIRES!

And they are very “free” with tips when you meet them at events! I have been to many Empower Network events and it’s funny WHEN “new members” approach me to personally THANK ME for what I wrote in my blog – that I’ve put some of my own struggles ONLINE, and at the same time ALSO share the lessons I learned on my blog. And then they thank me personally too, because it also helped THEM! 🙂

And some of these EN Members are not even on my team! It really is an empowering community.

And so, when the update was announced on the merging of iPas and Empower Network – that excited me because I have been curious about iPas for a long time, but, now that the two are merging …

… I wanted to now see what they have, because I CANNOT wait UNTIL they actually join and merge!

And NOW that I see what’s inside iPas2?

My biggest regret is … I should have joined iPas2 sooner!

So anyway, now, I am ALSO merging what I have learned at Empower Network with this NEW knowledge that I am learning at iPas2 …

… then, I will be in a better position to even think about writing a review about iPas2.

YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IPAS2. (And for those who want to see what’s inside … just try it. If you have a “change of heart” … you can easily cancel, there is a 30 Day Refund policy explained in THIS page. But DO NOT NOT JOIN because you read a negative review from someone who is NOT an iPas Black Member, they are actually doing you a disservice if they don’t even want you to TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF.

Reserve judgment, see it for yourself.

And so, I am jotting down my notes here and there … now getting back to my own GetResponse notes …

The logic behind looking for that code from GetResponse is to safeguard YOUR business and URL from SPAM complaints.

It’s a wise tip to apply if you are building your list on the internet.

And BECAUSE I APPLIED that advise and set it up from the very beginning, those “double opt-in subscribers” that I have, who cry SPAM SPAM, can be given the bacon of truth! It’s at the bottom of each email … Aweber has that functionality…

GetResponse only has “the Sign Up Date” functionality. I read through GetResponse’s API Docs to try and look for that above code and spent two hours looking for the other codes, so I just did what I could. 🙂

So, when I realized I was getting OFF TRACK with MY OWN frustrations … I switched back and just finished checking and testing the links to the two campaigns. Done!

Not having to create the iPas Infrastructure myself … (well, I am glad that I blog about my thoughts as I do Tech Work … because it will give you an idea of how difficult some I.T. work is!
The blog post on “Really Rebuilt!” is something else … the blog post on the “Domain Mapping” is something else, the blog post on the “Phishing Site” accusation is definitely BOTHERSOME!! It compelled me to extract content and then DEAL with fixing all of my broken links, (that tech work for me on my personal blog took me out of blogging, but working on the back end of my websites… etc…. seeing and answering all these negative feedback about EN when “leads” type Empower Network keywords … it ended up with me ANGRY enough to write a blog post about Empower Network … and like what I wrote earlier
The truthful blog post on what I know and think and feel about Empower Network, is now on Page 1 of Google. I updated that a couple of days ago … my motivation behind writing it is to help the efforts of fellow Empower Network Affiliates … because we can all blog until we are blue in the face and maybe some might be curious enough to research Empower Network, and when people see OTHER BLOGGERS from OTHER COMPANIES bash Empower Network … well, you get the picture right?

It is best to use your better judgment BASED on TRUTHFUL information – so if you are researching a company – look at THEIR website first, then look at their Knowledge Base or FAQs … ask OTHER people who ARE inside, not the former ones, because it was THEIR personal decision to leave, and more often than not, it is NOT a reflection on the company itself. Empower Network and iPas2 both have their separate websites and separate offices they make their products and their prices KNOWN to the public from the get-go.

I initially wanted to just wait for them to merge … (kind of like how I waited when I learned last year that ENV2 was going to be migrated to the KalatuBlog, so that I can fix the broken pics and links and such … but that kind of waiting is not really good.. we still have to keep on doing the OTHER things that would help our business going, right? )

I regret not joining sooner! 🙁

But.. I am moving forward right? So I just joined iPas2 .. to see for myself what EmpowerNetwork is merging with … 🙂

I remember, because he spoke about this on stage that time … he said everyone needs a mentor – even he had one when he started. And so he just gave us that “free offer” – he said that “during that 3 day event, that if we saw him, that we can approach him and just ask him anything!”

I did .. shyly .. asked him, what to do with a high ranking website.

He was nice, he said “Call to Action” … make sure you are clear with your CTA’s.

And then I did the best I could to fix all my CTAs ..

But with all of these technical and personal issues I have been having these past months … it was like … okay, I am going to rebuild, I am going to move forward .. I am just moving …

And I am sharing it here in this blog post, because I know where I am going.

.. another funny and inspiring one, and I took notes.

I thought I would share those here, Dave shared ..

There has been a process that Empower Network has gone through ..

.. the problem that most people have is a vision of something that they don’t actually want it, but they think they want it.

It’s like they want something, but they do not really want to do what it takes to have it.

There’s going to be obstacles along the way.

Some just keel over and die inside and give up. A lot of people do that.

But there are people who actually do something about it, this is what they do …

.. they continue to resist the obstacles.

And fight through them. Even if it doesn’t make any sense. Even if, it doesn’t make financial sense. Even if they have a lot of opposition from their family. Or if they have a lot of opposition with their bank account… they’re seriously trying to do some marketing, but they are also seriously looking at their bank account. Or they are still struggling with their sponsor.. or been in the business long enough and trying to look for another sponsor …

… but the people who actually get it are those who just continue to move forward.

… there are people who just continue and continue to break down the opposition and break down the obstacles,

… there are people who continue to dream bigger and believe more .. believe in things that have not happened yet…

That’s the special gift that people can have.

There are people who seemingly can’t have the gifts, but in the process of having that gift, what they don’t realize is they CAN have the gift if they just persevere…

… if they will just fight it out a little bit longer..

… it’s like you start doing something, you have this grand vision and you get inspired to do something diffferent and then you get some opposition,

.. two choices.. you can keel over, or you can persevere.

And if you persevere, and this is what mostly happens, you get MORE opposition, first, and then more opposition, it depends how big your dream is, and what you are trying to do.

And if you keep fighting it out, it’s like you are proving “you really want this” – then the obstacles are removed.

And the doorway opens, you just step through it.

And you can walk into any imaginable future. If you just believe and continue to persevere and believe in your vision and keep working and fighting for it.

And that is what EN is going to do.

We are removing the obstacles for the next season of growth.

And people in business knows that there are seasons.

It’s amazing when something happens that leads to an awakening in somebody’s life. It’s like something inside of them comes alive, it’s like they unlock a gateway of energy that’s always been sitting there.

When the light comes on in somebody’s eyes, what is it that really happens?

But it’s like all of a sudden they stop projecting their successes into the future, and they project their future into their current success, and they just step into a new way of doing things.

With all their heart and all their energy.

They are walking in a river of prosperity.

Sometimes in life you are swimming upstream, it’s like you are trying to move forward, and the stream is pushing you back.

And no matter how hard you swim, you just get more tired and get pushed further back.

And some people at that point, stop swimming, and they go to the shore.

When what they really need to do, is change directions, and move with the current.

And if they just do that, they just don’t find themselves moving, but they find themselves moving faster, faster than they could swim.

And that’s what it’s like when you get around people that are doing something when all of the lines and time are connecting at the right moment.

The right skills. The right minds. The right vision. The right product. The right kind of compensation. The right systems…. are all working together to get the new person who will just click the submit button, joining for the very first time.

When we do that, we have the right heart and the right mind. What we can do together is limitless.

All the projection into the future and that success is determined by who you are. And what it is that you decide to do.

And you just have got to realize is that thing that is holding you back has not been the company, not the compensation plan, not anything else.

But the real thing is you have a door to your heart..

.. that’s been locked.

And the key has always been in your hand.

But what you haven’t done is take the key, put it in the key hole, turn it, and open the door.

And let the vision inside you shine.

You haven’t allowed yourself to do it because you have been afraid of what is possible when you actually go out there and succeed.

What about when people are looking at you? What’s going to happen when you step on stage? What are you going to feel then?

Unlock your resources inside and step out.

Because you CAN.

One of the reasons why I have not joined iPas in the past is, I was told that it was a separate system. Each “big team” have their own “team sites”…

… my own sponsor had one when I joined, but it involved other businesses as well.. as a newbie back then, I was getting confused about which product was EN, and which was not.

… so for the past 2+ years, I only paid my sponsor my ALLIN products (the 100% sales went to him, not to Empower Network, from trmer compensation plan of 100% commissions) the only thing that goes to Empower Network are the Affiliate Fees, and now with the new compensation plan, 30% of commissionable products sales. EN Affiliates still earn a big 70% commission.

.. for the past 2+ years, there was no real “personal help” from my personal sponsor, unlike those types that other big teams “seem” to have .. so I really felt like an orphan at Empower Network, in terms of NOT having help from my sponsor (I left several voicemails though this past 2 years .. and nada, nothing, zilch… I guess he is too busy). Out of the 7 events I attended, I only saw him on the first two. But I visit his blog from time to time, and read what he is up to. 🙂

I just took the advise of EN Support, to just go with my EN Training …

… so I just went on along and just studied all the products, and when I had questions, I would call EN Support. I also attended events.

There were so many times I wanted to quit and change sponsors, but then AT THAT MOMENT of me being at THAT point of clicking the “Cancel” button – SOMETHING ALWAYS happens to stop me from canceling.

I wasn’t “wanting” to cancel because of Empower Network, I was “wanting” to cancel because of my sponsor’s indifference. I needed a mentor.

And I know there are “mentors” or coaches that you pay that don’t do anything but COLLECT money. 🙁

HOWEVER …

My personality is … I am going to do my “whatever it takes” to find that mentor who could point me to the right direction! Because I prayed for it! 🙂 Lord give me people, resources I could go to.

I found Empower Network 2+ years ago. I have always been in it consistently, except for the past year – as there were too many personal issues that got in the way.

And when I went into the new KalatuBlog … it was like learning new systems all over again. 🙂 I missed out on events I could not attend because of work and schedule constraints.

But the Empower Network is like a moving train … it keeps on innovating, and I missed out on the latest. And so since I felt like I was also starting my business all over again … when I learned that Empower Network and iPas was merging …

I joined iPas2, because, I need a REAL mentor, whom I could SPEAK WITH when I need to.

And remember one of the MANY things I wrote in my blog post when I DECIDED that I needed help with my grief?

“9 Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. 10 For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. 11 Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. We can get help when we ask for it. We can get to THAT point when we acknowledge that we can’t do it all. Seek and you will find. – Cris W. (ME!!)

when there was an issue with the EN – Kalatu warning prompt, I sent Chris J. a PM. I also sent a Support Ticket.

And as I was building another system at that time, I just switched hats, for a bit, but I monitored that “warning” and I updated the blog post when I noticed that it was fixed.

I knew Project Titan (the merging of Empower Network and iPas2 systems) is on-going .. and so after all the “busy work” I have been doing in my OFFLINE life …

.. and now it’s about real measurement and real coaching ..

We can only be as strong as we are honest with ourselves and others..

I had a discussion with another Empower Network member. It’s amazing actually, as other former EN Members are still reaching out to me, and saying hello and asking for updates and such, since they notice I haven’t been blogging like I used to ..

.. reads my blog posts from my heart and mind ..

… forgives me my typos because I just type and type when I blog ….

… and my blog visitors .. still visit and they stay for a bit ..

So these are my thoughts on why I joined iPas2… (obviously uncut… 🙂 )

So if you need a real mentor on Internet Marketing … it’s best to learn it from those who have actually been consistently successful at it and will not give up and just plain persevere. I have also paid extra for the service, that if anybody who signs up using my link, my members will also have a business coach call them. I am also always available to my members, at whatever level. By email or by phone. Especially those who are as serious about the business, like I am.

So I am moving forward and follow what this iPas2 system teaches.
