Part 4 . Two Questions

I helped another single mom and I blogged about this before, as I was sharing a horrible experience that I have already transcended – that I already resolved – and I have already learned my own nuggets that I can share with others….I actually got to help someone, a total stranger. What I wrote helped someone. A video I created, the truth I captured and put together in a video, helped someone. A total stranger. And she reached out to me. And I reached back. And I blogged about it here.
When I joined Empower Network .. it’s like a leap of faith, but at the same time, it also stemmed from feeling just exhausted and tired from the BS, the actual BS that we are all bombarded with day in and day out! News, t.v., other people, etc…
There was one man who unsubscribed from my mailing list who had the gall to email me back and say “stop sending me this BS!” – I just laughed it off.
If anything, I thank him because at LAST, he made a decision, and it is a “” LOL!
(I remember this particular negative person, because observing from my email analytics today, from Aweber, I recognized his email address, and he opened one of my video tutorials and step by step guide that I blogged about and shared with my subscribers on “How To Add A hyperlink” to your blog (or to any web page for that matter) …. he opened that email that I sent him (and my other subscribers) TODAY. So I know that he might not have realized it, but I was actually sharing something that he might find valuable and helpful someday. He did that today.
What I have been sending might have been BS “for him” that day he wrote me in his own anger? But it was not BS for me. I was sharing and I am sharing what I KNOW. I actually put in the action and the effort, of clearing my thoughts, putting them and organizing them in writing, I turned these thoughts into a blog post, and then did a blog broadcast, and scheduled it to be sent to my subscribers. It required an effort, an action, an organized consistent effort and action on my part.
That required actual effort, and work, and action and time that i have carved out of my day to share these with my subscribers. My motivation was to share something… to give something.
Some people see that, some people can’t. There own negativity clouds their vision and they are not and will never be ready to receive anything positive from anybody or from anything. These are the “know it alls”. The “predictors” of their own doom and gloom future and they cast their negative clouds onto anybody else who might predict a bright sunny future!
These might be the type of guy who doesn’t even have to put in action like maybe he doesn’t even have to mow his lawn. He simply stares at the grass and dares it to grow. =)
I do not give credence to what negative people might say, it’s not my fault if they don’t have the capacity to appreciate the good that people with good intentions share.
It may get quite “hurtful” sometimes, when people get nasty, when there’s no need to be nasty.
If people don’t want to learn from newsletters, then don’t subscribe to them.
If they want to unsubscribe to my newsletter, I ALWAYS have an unsubscribe link on EACH and EVERY email I send out. So I am compliant. I don’t SPAM. I even blogged about what is SPAM, so people would know what it is, instead of talking about something that is not correct.
Rules are put in place to make things easy for everyone. I even put a “date” when a specific subscriber actually subscribed. So they will remember, too.
The actual BS is when people see advertisements (like the ones I had when I reinvested my earnings from Empower Network into paid advertising), and then they opt-in to the mailing list and subscribes to “find out more” – and when you are honest, as honest as you can be, because they are too blind to see the truth you blog or write about? Or too cynical to accept the truth you say? Or too “scared” to try it out? That’s the actual BS.
That’s the actual BS, because, now that I have been at Empower Network for more than 6 months, and I have documented everything in my blog posts, daily, (check the calendar or the archives on the right side of my blog and you will see .. there’s nothing I teach that I don’t actually DO myself!) – if I have seen and MET even people with physical disabilities, blind people earning at Empower Network, people on wheelchairs, earning at Empower Network, deaf people earning at Empower Network, people that speak other languages and TRANSLATE the Empower Network into their own native language, earning at Empower Network, single parents, married couples, other couples, doctors, lawyers, postgraduates, pharmacists, accountants, MBAs, college dropouts, high school dropouts, ex-convicts, college students, the whole gamut of different kinds of people from different backgrounds and from different age groups, colors and religious beliefs, earning at Empower Network?
Where is the BS in that effort of mine talking and blogging and sharing the TRUTH that I know, the truth that I have seen and witnessed and experienced myself?
I am closing this blog series with what one of our leaders here at Empower Network shared in one of our Empower Hour Calls after the Denver Colorado event.
We are looking for people who have already made a decision to “play it big” in their lives and are looking for a “vehicle” and a community of people to accomplish that goal WITH. It IS at Empower Network.
Life is not happening to us, WE are happening to LIFE. We all have that choice. Is life happening to you? Are you always just “in reaction” to events in your life? Or will you decide that life is no longer happening to you, YOU are happening to your life?
It is OUR Responsibility to decide for US to happen to LIFE.
And what is RESPONSIBILITY? It is the “ability to respond”.
It’s the “lukewarms”, the “indifferent” people, the “neither here nor there” people who will weigh heavily on people who have “dreams”.
It is easier for a negative person to drag a positive person down, than for that positive person to lift a negative person UP.
It’s all about choices.
It’s all about making a decision. And in this blog post, I am ready, willing and able to “piss off some people” – because I am saying it as it is.

Life is too short to be wasting it “waiting”.
Life is not a “spectator sport” – to live it, you’ve got to decide to participate!
YOU have stuff to share with the world. YOU have lessons that you have learned in YOUR OWN LIFE that someone can benefit from, that someone could get helped with, someday.
You know what I have realized when I went to my last surgery AFRAID that I was not going to wake up from it?
That NOTHING else mattered to me but my son, my only son, my only child that I raised all by myself, NO child support – just me myself and I and the grace of God that provided me with the wisdom, tenacity, the professionalism so that I could work on projects and contracts and work for people or bosses so that I could pay the bills and put food on the table (and even on the side, help others too, who WERE NOT and ARE NOT my responsibility to financially help or financially provide for) – when I say I should help those who “deserve” help, I am coming from a standpoint of experience, because I have helped a whole LOT of people who did not actually and in reality do NOT deserve (and never deserved) my help, because they just abused it.
I just enabled them to be leeches.
I was a work horse.
I was working for everybody else. And when you have worked as hard as I have and have given away a lot of the fruits of my labor to others, also even paid companies and expect them to do what I paid them for, and they did not deliver.
It IS modern day slavery.
When I die, I will not bring all of these material things that I have acquired through all these years of hard work – now after experiencing being “displaced from the home I purchased”, now having had experienced being “homeless for six months” – I realized, I don’t need much! I don’t even want much anymore!
But what am I going to do with all these valuable lessons and experiences I have learned and acquired through the years?
Will they “die” with me, or can I “pass them on”? Of course I can! Will I pass them on?
You are reading this because I am in that process of passing on the lessons I have learned, and passing on and sharing this vehicle with others, those who are dissatisfied with mediocrity and dissatisfied with stupid.
There’s a better way to live life. There’s a better way to live the rest of my life.
Have I passed on these lessons, these potential, this “possibility” thinking on to my son? I have tried. I have shared with him and taught him all I could pass on to him and teach him during my own lifetime, but he has his own brain, one of my purposes in “blogging” is so that I can have a repository of my thoughts, my lessons learned, so that I can share it with my son in the future, when he is ready to learn (and he is still learning and figuring things out for himself, too).
I decided to put my thoughts in writing, in an authority site like Empower Network, because I have faith that Empower Network, because of the great vision that they have for all Members, and for humanity, fighting the forces of the evil life of mediocrity, I KNOW that Empower Network, and our viral blogging platform, would LAST for a very long time.
You know what these Alexa Ranks are for? They show you, an outside impartial business entity (you can go to alexa dot com and check the ranking of ANY website, just type mine, “” to see for yourself… ) how much “unique visitors” a website has. The more visitors, the higher the rank.
My blog, “my thoughts frozen in print”, my lessons learned, my experiences, and now even my goofy looking videos, are seen by MANY. That is why the blog ranking got high…
I am amazed, sometime in November 2012, it seemed like I was “begging” for “Likes” on my FB business page… and now, on a “daily” basis, I get notified that someone from somewhere in the planet, is “Liking” my business page… have read my blog posts. And are liking it. Liking and accepting ME for ME. I don’t have to be anybody else!
So, it just warms my heart. What they teach at Empower Network, because I just followed what these leaders taught in those educational digital products, are working for me.
And for my subscribers? They have front row seats to what’s happening to my Empower Network blog, and they are knowing me for me.
We can’t please everybody on planet earth. We shouldn’t even aspire to! LOL! No business is perfect, but at least this Empower Network business? If people have suggestions? They can just share it with others, with their leaders, they can document it, put in a support ticket. And the leaders here, LISTEN! They are not afraid to improve, they welcome positive enhancements!
That is WHY in September 2013, we are launching Empower Network Version 2! (EN V2)…
Those Members (like me) who went to the Denver Colorado Event were shown what this new version looks like… what it can do … it will rock the internet world, I kid you not!
… what would you have done if you knew about facebook before it launched …. would you have joined it?
… what would you have done if you knew about twitter before it launched … would you have joined it?
… The Empower Network blogging platform, which started in October 31, 2011, now ranks at the TOP 101 in the United States, and Top 384 Worldwide.
I joined them, ironically, on their one year anniversary. (I didn’t know THAT then when I joined!)…
I have been privy to what is coming UP in just a few short weeks before the LAUNCH of the platform that will change the blogging world and the way people publish on the internet.
I am glad I joined when I did. Now I know what I know.
I share it with my subscribers, and also to the guests on my blog.
That is just one of the clarifying, life transforming realizations, the BENEFITS of me joining Empower Network.
That is why I am asking YOU …
