Faith versus Fear

I feel like as if I have been a duck this past couple of days … cool and composed on the surface but paddling like crazy underneath the water! 🙂

Am I scared? Well, who wouldn’t be?

But there is faith too. It is about doing your dead best to be courageous.

Have your faith be bigger than your fear. 🙂

And courage is not the absence of fear, but the “choosing” and the “deciding” to do everything to conquer that fear.

And sometimes, your faith is tested, because there is “fear”. The real test is the choice you make, we all have choices…

… faith or fear..

… that is the test.

And I have learned that with my own many many brushes with death.

Choosing faith does not mean that I will not die, or the people I love will not die. Everybody dies.

But for me, learning how to choose faith, instead of fear, I just know will change and will affect on how I will experience my own death, or the death of people who are dear to me.

And choosing faith, will also affect the way I then choose how to live the rest of my life. Because life is so short.

We can’t change the whole world, nor can we save the whole world. But we can change ourselves. We can save ourselves. We can know ourselves so that we can be the best that we can be so that in that process of positive transformation, we, just maybe, can also inspire others to spend some time in their own “self learning”, in their own “self development”.

And to learn to give gratitude, real gratitude, to the One who has showered it upon us.

Yesterday, Dave Wood and Dave Sharpe made an announcement to all the Empower Network Affiliate base, to just share that Dave Sharpe is going to step down from the duties of a “Co Founder” in order to focus on getting treatment for his own health issues. I was so saddened and said a prayer for him, too.

One of the reasons why leaders get so passionate about accomplishing things WHILE they are still capable of accomplishing things is because, I guess, we all know, at the back of our minds, that each day is a gift, and what we do not use, we lose.

So each wasted day is a resource that can never be retrieved.

That is why we all need to be mindful of how we spend our days. And if we can do something, that might have that possibility to contribute to a greater good and to a wider audience, why not do it?

How would you want to be remembered by your family? By others?

What is most important to you? Who is most important to you?

What is your dream accomplishment?

Do not be afraid to try and learn new skills!

A couple of weeks ago, I invested in a new training called the Internet Traffic Formula.

So in between that and med school and everything else… I am learning new skills, and I have applied it right away.

Yesterday, as I was “worried” about my Dad, instead of “wallowing in the worry”… I thought, well, I have spoken and communicated with everyone concerned, have prayed about it… and so everything else… the negative thoughts and the useless worrying might just go to the “clutter box” in my brain. There’s nothing more I can do.
