Sponsoring team members is vital to your online home based business

If your online home based business involves network marketing /MLM, then sponsoring team members is key to your long term success. So I want to share some information that might help you in your efforts to sponsor people for your team and online home based business. I must acknowledge a webinar I watched on MyLeadSystemPro by industry leader, Ray Higdon.
The first take away point I got was, to determine where you are at in your online home based business and particularly in your sponsoring efforts, you just need to look at your results. How have you done so for in recruiting? If you are sponsoring over 10 people per month, that is wonderful, you are doing great. Maybe there are some ideas that can take you to the next level.

If you aren’t having success in sponsoring in your online home based business

If you haven’t reached that level, that is ok. There are definitely thinks you can do to improve your results. Consider this though, if you aren’t getting results it is more than likely you have an issue with your mindset. You may think you’ve worked on your mindset, but you haven’t gotten it right yet. You need to crack that subconscious block on why you are not having success. Focus on really changing your mindset and removing that mental block that is holding you back.
IF you aren’t having success in sponsoring in your online home based business, you really need three things. You need mindset, discipline and a solid routine. Once you have the mindset you need to have the self-discipline in your life to consistently take the actions that bring results. You also have to apply that self-discipline to a solid daily routine that prioritizes your time and eliminates distractions and spending time on things that are not important.

If you are having success in sponsoring in your online home based business

If you are getting strong results and you want to step it up, first you have to have big goals and a vision. You also need to have someone to consistently push you forward, an accountability coach. You also have to train the people you have on your team. And you have to interact with the masterminds in your organization and the industry. These are some of the ways to can take your sponsoring efforts to the next level in your online home based business.
Ray Higdon also emphasized a bunch of other things, and you can get the full webinar on MLSP. But first you need to take action, and your actions need to align with your goals. If you are taking consistent massive action then you don’t have time to complain. If you are complaining then you aren’t taking enough action.

Posturing

Another key to sponsoring that Ray Higdon emphasized has to with posturing. Posturing is a key to your sponsoring success and also a vital part of your success in your online home based business. Posturing is defined as a critical evaluation of your time, how it is spent and with whom. It is a position of power and an understanding that not everybody is worthy of your time.
Sponsoring people into your team requires getting leads and interacting with them. Interacting involves more than sending an email. If you have a lead’s phone number, then you need to call them. If you are afraid or unwilling to talk to your leads on the phone, then maybe you shouldn’t be involved in network marketing. And when you communicate with people, in email, by phone, or in person you have to do it with an absence of hype or hope. You have to be willing to let someone go. You must keep your power, you can’t give it away to a prospect that in the end won’t join. And there are plenty of people that you talk to that you really don’t want to join your team.
You have to have that attitude. That is proper posturing. You must speak from a place of confidence and abundance. Every lead is not going to convert to a sale or a team member. You are looking for the right people to join your team and you cannot appear to be desperate. People will sense that desperation and they will not have confidence in you as a leader. That is posturing and it is one of the keys to success in your sponsoring efforts and your success in your online home based business.
