The HTC EVO Design VS Apple’s iPhone 4 On Sprint’s Network

Many people this Christmas season will be buying new smart phones for their loved ones. The HTC Evo Design Vs the iPhone 4 8g are in this matchup.

The HTC Evo Design is a fairly new sibling to the original HTC Evo 4g. It is a world phone capable device with a 5mp camera and a removable 8g micro sd card. Many of the stats in this matchup favor the HTC Evo Design but the iPhones retina display and sound quality are amazing and it is a close second in other stats.

The iPhone 4 has many more styles of cases available for it so the looks can be customized much more than it’s Android opponent, but the Evo Design is an Android so the phone itself lends it to more internal customization.

One thing you could do when deciding between the iPhone and the HTC Design is to just imaging your self owning and using the phone over time. What phone do you see yourself with? What does the case you chose look like? Do you see yourself really getting involved with learning your phones operating system or do you prefer the more simple design of the iPhone?

Sometimes with a 2 year commitment it’s tough to decide. I am glad Sprint has the fastest 3g network and also the fewest dropped calls in the industry so that won’t be an issue with either phone. For me even though the Evo Design has the slight edge I am leaning toward the iPhone 4 for the screen, sound, and they really hold their value better at trade in time. I have many more case options as well.

So really in this matchup it’s not apples to apples…lol. I am still undecided for some reasons I lean towards the iPhone and others I find myself leaning back toward the EVO Design. Which one would you choose? I think you can’t go wrong with either of them.

If I had to pick a winner it is the HTC EVO Design by a close margin.
