Company Review Interview about 5 LINX
Who are You and what is your story and what made you turn to Network Marketing? What drew you to this Industry?
My name is Greg Stargell and I love to help people and have fun.
I was born and raised in a small city in Georgia called Atlanta and grew up in a single parent household. My mom was a pretty creative woman because she raised three kids and never made more than 15K a year. With that said, we were not poor but ‘po’ because we had to put the ‘or’ on layaway.
There were nights where my mom would work hard and still struggle financially to the point where sometimes she would not eat so that we could eat. It was those moments that made me want to do well in school, get good grades, and get the great job so my family would not struggle.
This mindset changed in 2003 when I lost my grandmother. My mom told me the day after we buried my grandma that she told her that I came into the world poor and I am going to die poor. Then my mom began to say the same thing. I also saw people who gave 28, 29, 39 years of their life to a company and was let go 1 year to 6 months before they were eligible to retire and was left with nothing to show for it at the age of 55 and older.
So I asked myself there has to be a better way.
In 2004, I had stumbled upon a book entitled Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. The concepts kind of made sense at first but some went over my head. I started researching the three classes of passive income sources explained the book: Paper, Real Estate, and Business. To make a long story short I started with paper and did pretty well and looked to do a business and I saw that Mr. Kiyosaki recommended a Network Marketing Business. I have viewed many opportunities and 5 Linx was the only one that had a system that made sense at the time.
What drew you to this Industry?
I was looking for a way to gain business knowledge and mindset without getting a job. Also it is an industry that provides a win-win for both parties unlike a traditional business. The sponsor wins when they help you grow and develop and you win because you have a wealth of knowledge and mentorship if you are on the right team. This is a people’s industry so you will have to be able to work with people and have their best interest at heart.
What made you choose 5 Linx?
Most companies that I ran into were trying to sell the idea of buying pills, energy drinks, water, vacations, etc. I did not see the value in those things and so I kindly rejected because I know I could not sell or persuade people to invest their time into if I personally am not convinced.
The reason I choose 5 Linx was because I am a techie, I love electronics. Also the opportunity just made sense because you are getting paid on services that you and other people already pay for every month. Also those are bills that are paid over and over and over again.
Who are your founders of 5 Linx and what is their vision for the company?
Craig Jerabeck – President/CEO – serves as the president of the company since 2001.
Jeb Tyler – Executive VP of Marketing – has been instrumental in developing new products and opening new markets.
Jason Guck – Executive VP of Sales – considered an expert in the direct marketing industry.
The vision of the company is to produce the most millionaires than any other company and to become a billion dollar organization.
The Motto of the company is “Representatives comes First”
And finally our company is established on the five principles: Freedom, Integrity, Vision, Opportunity, and Success

What is the #1 question you get about 5 Linx and the Unique objections You get from prospects about your 5 Linx? How do you answer them?
The number #1 question I get is: Do you think I can make money in this company?
I answer it by telling yes they can and I can provide them with tools to make money but at the end you have to believe you can and do you see the value in this opportunity.
The main objections I get is that is this a pyramid scheme. I answer that question by giving the definition of a pyramid scheme because most people do not know by giving them a paraphrase from the FBI:
A Pyramid Scheme or Ponzi Scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.
From the definition they can see that it is a legitimate company but I also ensure them that this company is credible, legal and has been examined and/or certified by the Better Business Bureau, Direct Selling Association, and the Federal Trade Commission.
How do you market your business and how do help your team with their business?
I usually market by word of mouth primarily for offline marketing. Online marketing I use things like blogs, social media, etc to give people information so they can make a sound decision.
I help my team by letting them know that people do not like to be sold. Therefore you want to listen to the needs of others and be a problem solver. Also don’t force people but guide them into the outcome that would be in their best interest. Last thing I tell them is to be honest people. As a leader if you can’t be honest, you lose the trust and respect from your group which is critical for a successful unit.
Do you do any paid marketing for your business?
Yes, I do flyers for events. I post door hangers in communities that are having houses built. For my team that chose to do marketing that requires money, I tell them to always set a budget and do not exceed that. That is one of the reasons people do not do well in network marketing is because of financial burnout. From looking at other teams in any network marketing venture, new people have the tendency to run up their credit cards and spend more than their budget allow. Then at the maximum of 6 months, they disappear and go into the witness protection program. The reason is that most people do not understand that Marketing is a marathon, not a sprint.
