Eric Worre’s recent book, Go Pro – 7 Steps To Becoming A Network Marketing Professional, is a testament to his ongoing pursuit of excellence and sharing our profession with the world. If you choose to begin a career in our profession, this book is an excellent place to start.

What I really love about Eric’s book is that he focuses on the fundamentals. All too often, it’s easy to get caught up in the hype and fancy new methods to build a business but we never take the time to master the core skills that are necessary to grow massive teams and create duplication in our businesses.
Don’t get me wrong, Eric supports using modern technology to build your business. Even my team and I use proven online marketing systems to make our lives easier. Online marketing works, no doubt about it.
However, you will, without question, amplify your results when you lay these proven systems over the top of a strong set of acquirable skills.
And yes, you can acquire them. In fact, it’s critical that you do.

A couple of my key takeaways were these:
1) The magical power of events. I’m a big fan of events and I attend a lot of them. While I already knew their importance, Eric does a solid job of making sure you truly understand why you need to go…..and all of your team too.
2) The importance of working with your new members of your team. This is an industry riddled with sad war stories of sponsors that left their new rep high and dry to figure it all out for themselves. Don’t be that person.
3) It’s more than money. You have to give back to the world through donations and active volunteerism. This section really created a wonderful epiphany for me and I’m really excited about a major announcement I will be making about this on Labor Day. Be on the look out for it!
