Powerful TEDx Talk By Mel Robbins In San Francisco
What was your main takeaway from watching the video above?
For me, I really liked about how she spoke about the concept of “force”. Forcing yourself to take an action and not waiting until your brain tries to talk you out of it.
Literally, you have 5 seconds to just go for it before your brain wants to pull on the emergency brake. This is so true for most of us.
I was also a big fan of how she spoke about the inner lies people tell themselves about being “fine” and how we have tricked ourselves into believing these lies. Turns out it’s a major reason people don’t push towards what they really want out of life and get out of their so-called comfort zone.
