Melody Garza

Three posts sit here and one of them is a public commitment. She proposes a thirty day challenge combining two things she wanted to hold herself to, fitness and nutrition on one side and daily writing on the other, and invites readers to run it alongside her rather than watch.

The elevator pitch post is the most portable. Two minutes is roughly what you get with somebody you have just met, every stranger is potentially a customer or a partner, and the mistake is launching straight into a rehearsed speech instead of opening properly. She covers the opening in detail.

There is a piece on diabetes awareness that lists the consequences plainly, from sight loss to kidney failure to amputation, and points at a programme carrying a national association's endorsement.

The blog is short and the challenge post explains what she meant to build.

Read the elevator pitch post. Two minutes of preparation covers a great many chance meetings.
