Many Interviews were done by Team Take Massive Action at the San Diego Empower Network Convention.  I was always surprised by who Chris Record finds or knows about as I continue to learn this business and the people in it…. however I did know of Jason Moffatt and his Internet Marketing Lifestyle which has many wondering, “How can I do that too?”  I’ll answer that in a moment, but enjoy the video and the transcription below.

Hey everyone Chris Record here Team Take Massive Action, I caught Jason Moffatt out in the hallways, Jason Moffatt for those of you who don’t know him, he’s an Internet Marketing legend, I’ve known him for a long time making money online, surfing, spending free time.  I was able to grab him and I wanted to ask him a couple of questions real quick for an interview.

I guess my first question is tell me about your experience, you’ve been marketing for a long time, someone with your experience, why did you join Empower Network?

Jason Moffatt: To be honest, I was really apprehensive for like 8 weeks. I finally had so many people ask me questions about it (Empower Network) and so I went all in with my own money and just to check it out.  I didn’t even know if I was actually going to join it, but I don’t like to promote things unless I’m vested in it, you know, people look to me for an honest opinion about stuff and I couldn’t give an honest opinion without seeing the (Empower Network) content.   So I went in and did it.

To be honest, I fell in love with Dave Wood, just his style and being laid back and it just reminded me how I run my business and really just a care free laid back, beach style attitude and I was just like MAN, I like it better than what I’m doing.  Cause I can just be myself and then bring people in to the business and then they learn too.  I mean the training in there is good.

My whole thing was seriously like the opportunity is we can all make a lot of money, but is the actual training teaching people something they’re gonna learn?  And I was like yea, they teach a lot psychology of selling which is where really, it is at. I mean you know, people think it’s all in these finer little details and where a lot of the times it’s not.  There important, but so I fell in love with the guys (David Wood & David Sharpe) and then I saw obviously the payment model, the commission model, oh gosh.   This is you know the greed factor kicked in, I was like oh man, you can make a lot of money.  And so the more, even  to this day the more I hear the stories the more I see what you’re doing, we talk and even meeting new people I just get more excited genuinely more excited about it and I know the growth of the company (Empower Network) is just going to sky rocket.

Chris Record: Now here’s something really cool, so you’re an Internet Marketer and I think the lifestyle, the one thing the one reason I follow Jason and followed him for a long time is your lifestyle.  A minute ago your telling me your toughest decision in the day, why don’t you tell everybody else.  What is your toughest decision of the day basically? And what is this Internet Marketing lifestyle a little bit like when you figured it out?

Jason Moffatt:  Gosh I was being a little facetious, its kinda true, my biggest, like choice of the day is what surfboard am I gonna ride? I’m looking at the waves and conditions and I got like 18 surf boards laid out and it’s kind of a tough decision.  Because you want to maximize your wave you want to get the most out of it and so that’s about my toughest, and then even deciding if I want to work cause people know I really don’t work much. I never really have and this business (Empower Network) kind of lends itself to that too.  I’m not saying that you never have to work, because you do have to put in some actions and stuff. But we’ve learned things over the years to automate a lot of the processes. To like where you were even showing me earlier, we’re just sitting talkin and the commissions were just rolling in.  We were not working.   So I was going to send out an email the other day, like, it was going to be like just WTF?! He (David Wood) emailed me 26 times today.  Oh, but they’re all commissions. You know and I don’t mind getting 20 emails (from Empower Network) if they’re commissions.

Chris Record: And it’s a true story, it’s funny. I asked Jason, Hey can you pop over for an Interview, so I just wanted to quickly ah.. grab out my phone and exchange numbers, but the commission notifications, kept popping up and I was having to exit the notifications cause people were signing up while we were just talking a minute ago.

Jason Moffatt: Very True Story.

Chris Record: I love it, now, what we will end with is this, its’ simply to get where Jason is obviously you’re not an overnight success, right, there was some work there.  But to get were Jason is, it’s a learning curve. Once you learn it, I mean just imagine, imagine your toughest decision is being what surf board to pick to catch certain waves. Jason Moffatt: I’ll tell you one thing, I’ve Taken Massive Action my whole life, I’ve built like houses and swung hammers and I’ve done every kind of job you can imagine.  And I’ve Taken Massive Action in this company (Empower Network) and on the Internet, we know hard work.  The coolest think about this this kind of action, is we’re actually playing, and having fun.  Maybe you got a smile on your face all weekend have you not?  Kyle (camera) had a smile on his face all the time, I’ve had a smile on my face. I would say 99% of the people here really have been smiling.  So to me I love the idea of Taking Massive Action that you would probably do even if you weren’t making any income.  To me that is why I love sharing stories, I love being around people, I do this stuff all the time, it’s a bonus that I get paid on top of it all.

Chris Record: He’s (Jason Moffatt) got a good point there, if you don’t love what you do, you’re not going to make big money at it. You just have to get passionate and enjoy the moment and enjoy the fun.
