We live in the world where we are programed to believe, that a balanced meal has to contain vegetables , meat and carbohydrates . It is one of the biggest myths, that the clever marketing of the meat and dairy industry has made us believe. To develop overall health and vitality, and maintain a strong immune system, the body needs a wide range of nutrients; this can be hard to achieve from any average diet alone. When I started to add all the amazing plant foods to my diet I realized that vibrant health and energy begin with what you eat. I was a famous caffeine addict , but I am free of it since the end of March. All I wanted was to feel vibrant and energetic, but now I achieve that with some amazing plant based super foods, which everyone can benefit from .This is one of the easiest way to feed every cell of your body with whole ,clean and energy charged nutrients.
I would like to start with Spirulina -did you know, that you can sorely survive on this amazing blue-green beauty? When it comes to plant protein organic powdered spirulina is my absolute winner. I remember the first time I added it to a glass of water. It was like having a triple espresso without any side effects whatsoever. Spirulina is a nutrition powerhouse. It’s blue-green colour which is the source of much of its cancer-prevention abilities done by blue pigment phycocyanin a biliprotein which has been shown to inhibit cancer-colony formation. Spirulina is also known as a immune system booster – it’s cells can help fight illnesses and prevent the body of developing them .
Turmeric -Best known as an ingridient in a curry turmeric has magical abilities. Useful nutrients contained within the herb are carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals. More specifically, it is a good source of vitamin C and potassium.
Turmeric is said to help boost appetite, lower blood pressure, improve bile secretion and reduce pain; it has anti-inflammatory effects. Turmeric and its major active ingredient curcumin are among the top most clinically studied spices and herbs today. Dr. Andrew Weil recommends using whole root turmeric powders in food often for preventing inflammatory conditions, considered the root of most coronary, chronic and autoimmune diseases.Cooking and adding black pepper or mixing the powder with fats like coconut oil helps digest the turmeric’s curcumin, which is normally a bit difficult to assimilate.
Cayenne pepper – the master spice . Taking it in powder form, however, is especially potent and powerful.Much scientific research has been initiated to validate what naturopathic practitioners have known for years: It can stop heart attacks, nourish the heart with vital nutrients, remove plaque from the arteries, help rebuild flesh destroyed or harmed by frostbite, heal hemorrhoids, re-build stomach tissue, heal stomach ulcers, fortify your overall health, and mitigate the most wrenching of diseases.Continuing, it improves circulation, rebuilds blood cells, lowers cholesterol, emulsifies triglycerides, removes toxins from the bloodstream and improves overall heart health. It’s even a great insect repellent. As mentioned, it can also heal ulcers, which seems contradictory considering its native calidity or heat. Itimmediately equalizes blood pressure in your system, shrinks hemorrhoids, and heals the gall bladder too.It can be used as a diuretic as well helping in elimination both with urine and with built-up fecal matter in the intestines. It has wonderful, scientifically-proven anti fungal properties as well.
Being vegan is a choice like everything else including the choice to eliminate animal produce of their diet . Taking vegan-ism on board is really big for me. It is much more than egg replacement , dairy free chocolate bar it is planting the seed of change, that will save our planet. At the moment I am reading a book called “World Peace Diet” and I would like to write about that when I finish it. It is facinating how the conectivity of all things affects us in many levels.
