Gold Rush is a television show on Discovery that chronicles the hardships and activities of a crew of rookie miners and the learning curve they undergo in starting a gold mine. the show is in its fourth this fall and the crew is maturing from a group of down and out novices to seasoned gold miners who can get the job done.
That show is a parallel to what the Empower Network is all about. A group of guys who had never mined gold before are down and out because of the economy and decide that risking it all on the chance to strike it rich mining gold. In the first season none of them had ever done it,ut were willing to believe in their themselves and their leader that the job would get done.
Like most of us who have joined up with the Empower Network we are looking for a way to build a business that is ours and will provide with a lifestyle that will allow us to live life on our own terms. Whether that is living on the beaches of the world, just making more money so one spouse can come home and stay with the kids, or providing for a more stable future, each of us is stepping out into the unknown and trusting that we can do it.
The rookie miners suffer untold stupid mistakes caused by just not knowing what they are doing along with equipment failures and even some personal conflict between some members of the team. In short life itself happens and they choose to persevere through it all in search of the dream that will secure their futures.
That is similar to rookie internet marketers who make dumb mistakes out of ignorance. It can be formatting posts so things look goofy, forgetting to add their affiliate name to the end of links, posting classified ads with no link, to spamming their friends and family. Learning any new skill takes time and dedication and fortunately the Empower Network offers the training and great support to help rookies through those initial difficult days.
Like gold mining it takes dedication and perseverance to learn internet marketing and the rewards can be as great, plus the Empower Network is loaded with nuggets of information from co-workers and co-team members who are interested in your success and willing to answer questions and keep you on the right path.
To your success, whether it is gold mining or internet marketing, just stick with it and realize that hard work plus time will bring success.
