Turn off the car, and let your engine have a  rest. You’ll be saving yourself some money and minimizing the damaging effects of harmful exhaust emissions into our environment.

Many utility companies now offer green energy options such as wind farms and incentives for installing solar panels. Ask them. You may be surprised what options are available to you that you were not aware of that can help you in Going Green.

Lower your thermostat a couple of degrees. You can do it! You most likely have it set for optimum comfort. I’m not saying you shouldn’t be comfortable, but I think you can probably live comfortably enough if you just dial it down a couple degrees. Try to remember to do your laundry in cold water. This will help you cut back on the on the energy consumption and costs of your water heater. You should see a change in your energy consumption by doing this as this is something you do regularly.

Why are you still receiving monthly paper bills and bank statements in the mail? Bank online, you probably already do anyway. Pay you bills online, and go completely paperless. We really don’t need to be using any more paper than is necessary. You should be Going green in this department at every opportunity.

Visit the Direct Marketing Association website and put a stop to  receiving junk mail. This is extremely effective.
