Looks like Lindsay Lohan is back! Well sort of anyways. The always controversial celebrity hosted the hit television show Saturday Night Live on March 3rd, 2012. Lohan who is usually in the media for everything and anything negative, appears to be attempting a comeback for her career. What better way to kick it off then host Saturday Night Live, or better known as SNL.
Here is Lindsay Lohan’s commercial for her spot on the show:
Although the star actress hasn’t been in many movies over her last few years of struggles, we have seen plenty of her on the internet, TV and on magazine covers to know she has been around. For awhile it seemed like everywhere you turned, you couldn’t go to far without seeing her face with a latest tabloid involving her and some sort of negativity. Almost to the point when you did see her plastered all over the place, you thought, “Oh no, what did she do now?” or “What is this girl doing with her life?”
Through all the troubles she’s gone through and all the perseverance she had to overcome, she is still able to make light of the situation and fun of herself:
Not everyone was thrilled about the return of the 25 year-old child star. Many people involved in the Twitter community voiced their opinions. Most of the comments were blows against her and mostly below the belt. During her many skits during the show, Lindsay Lohan was noticeably looking at the cue cards as you could tell she forgot her lines. People noticed and made the following comments:
“The only thing Lindsay Lohan seems addicted to is the SNL cue cards.”
–Kurt D. Soller
Another comment referring to her performance:
“Y’all see Lindsay Lohan reading her lines on SNL? Trashy.”
–Cliff Skighwalker
The best comment and maybe the meanest of the whole show:
“This may be the first time Lindsay Lohan had trouble doing lines.”
–Drunk Enough
I can’t help but laugh at this one. It’s very clever. Mean, but very clever.

Now that Lindsay is back on the screen be prepared to see a lot more of the young celebrity. Usually when someone from Hollywood takes a break or in her case, a forced break due to drugs and alcohol, they are usually splashed all over the entertainment scene again. Countless talk show appearances are bound to pop up. Everyone wanting to know what’s new with her, how she is feeling and most of all, what’s next for team Lohan.
Will her recent appearance on the comedy show be enough to spark the comeback for our beloved Lindsay Lohan? Maybe producers will make the decision if she has grown and changed her ways enough to want her back in the spot light of their next up coming movie or series. We all know everyone loves a comeback. Britney Spears was able to do it as well as many others. Could it be time for Lindsay Lohan? Time will tell.
