Tips on Blogging
As a member of the Empower Network one of the key things they preach and teach you to do is blog daily. Sounds easy enough but sometimes you may hit a little road block or I guess writers block, on what you can write about so here are a few tips on blogging that I mention below:
Tips on Blogging – What to Write About
First thing I would suggest is write about what you love or what your passionate about. If you are writing about something you really enjoy doing, it will come natural and will be noticed in your words because they will flow much easier and grab the reader. Love to travel? You could keep a daily blog of a trip you are going on or have been on. Love sports? Write a pre-game or a post-game report on your teams performance from your view. Love to cook? Create a daily recipe blog which you could share and exchange with other bloggers. Your imagination can really run wild here.
Tips on Blogging – Some Inner Circle Secrets
Once you are a member of the Empower Network, you have the option of joining the Inner Circle inside and I highly recommend it. The audios are truly inspiring and very uplifting. Each audio focuses on curtain aspects of building your business and provide great tips on blogging and advice on how to overcome any hurdles you may be struggling with. Once audio that really helped me was the audio David Wood did with fellow Empower Network marketer Justin Verrengia.
In the hour long audio, Justin tells his story and his marketing background of how he became successful through affiliate marketing and how Empower Network helped him. Some of the tips on blogging he shares are incredible.
The Best Tip: The gold nugget that he shared in his interview for me was his viral blogging tip. It’s absolutely genius and so simple. Of course I never would have thought of it in a million years. LOL.
What Justin does when he doesn’t have time to write a unique content blog or can’t think of anything to chat about, he will go to some current news websites or other social sites and take a popular news story, copy and paste it and put it on his Empower Network blog. At first I thought this would be considered duplicate content which is highly frowned upon from Google, Yahoo and other popular search engine websites but I learned from Justin if you do it right, it doesn’t count as duplicate content.
What you do he said is if you copy the headline and body and paste it to your site, at the bottom of the article, now posted on your site, just give props to the author and link to the source where you got the story. If you leave credit to the writer and the website where you got the article with a link, it won’t hurt your search engine rankings. If something is viral enough, you could get a lot of traffic to your blog on an article you didn’t even have to write. Genius.
“You’re either bringing in the masses to find the few, or you’re teaching the few how to bring in the masses” -David Wood
David Wood mentions this quote in the “tips on blogging” audio as well and I thought was worth noting. It makes sense, if you are trying to build a business, you want to bring in the people who produce and not lots of people who will sit on the side lines and do nothing. Once you get all in inside Empower Network I highly recommend you download and listen to this inspiring audio.
