Stephanie Park

Being told to do something that makes you feel slimy is the exact sensation Stephanie Park writes about, and naming it is most of the value. She was new, she asked for guidance, and the guidance she received made her want to stop, which is a common experience and almost never described.

Her answer draws on two well known talks about vulnerability and about how posture changes confidence, and she uses them without turning the post into a summary of somebody else's ideas.

The second post compares entrepreneurial stages to human ones, from the terrible twos through to a midlife crisis, and argues that the frustration of not breaking through is developmental rather than a verdict on you.

The third refuses to offer a quick method for finding people and reduces the whole subject to trust, which is either the least or the most useful answer available.

Three posts. Read the authenticity one if you have just been handed a script you cannot say out loud.
