It’s been a super productive day, but it wasn’t always this way.
I had been floundering in my day-to-day activities of starting my own online business. To be honest, there is just so much information out there on different ways to reach the same path. Someone can get lost out there. Isn’t the Internet sometimes referred to as “The Great Abyss.” It just keeps going….
And going…
And going…
But today, I put an end to all of that. I took a stand and decided enough is enough. With all this information overload, I was paralyzed. I didn’t know where to start. Have you experienced that feeling of paralysis by analysis?

This person says this, but that person says that.
It’s a terrible feeling. It doesn’t lead to anything. The wheels will keep spinning, but there will be no progress. When this level of information overload and inactivity occur, sometimes a mentor can be a great asset. In my case, some of the information provided to be me during my information overload period provided the answer I needed.
There are multiple “gurus” suggesting ways to be more productive.
As I was watching the Empower Network Cost Rica Intensive video, David Wood pointed out that he often uses a software program called Simpleology.com. David Wood is a very successful online businessman, and he is where I want to be. If he is using Simpleology.com and you are an online businessperson or any type of businessperson, USE IT! At least, listen to why he’s using it, research it, and then make a decision, making sure his use of the software heavily weights your own decision.
Simpleology.com is a very user-friendly program that allows the user to list their daily goals, and create deadlines for those goals. That’s the truly simplistic version of the program. It will boosts production by giving you more focus to your daily activities. Instead of fumbling around in information overload, you have jot down your goals and make yourself accountable to what you write. NOW THAT’S COOL STUFF!!! If you sit at a computer most of the day and do most of your work watching a computer screen, it’s fairly easy to get distracted. Our mind starts to wander, we start looking at websites that have nothing to do with our agenda, and now our productive streak has ended.
I will be using Simpleology.com to boost my productivity. It’s very easy to be overloaded with so much info. By writing down my daily goals, I have focus. By setting a deadline to those goals, now I have an agenda. If I put action into my agenda, I have results. It’s like clockwork.
