Raphael Mavi

A warning came before an earlier storm, the family packed and drove to Pennsylvania, and nothing happened. That memory is why the next one caught them, and Raphael Mavi writes about the days after a hurricane in New York with his own photographs and no attempt to make a lesson out of it.

The entrepreneurship posts are more conventional, though he cuts them down usefully. Rather than listing twenty traits, he takes three and asks you to work on those, starting with the belief that you control your own thoughts and nobody else gets a vote.

His piece on a magazine called Success turns into an argument about when people stop dreaming, which he places somewhere in the early twenties, and about adults he describes as having given up rather than grown up.

One post questions a large government ammunition purchase, and it comes from somebody genuinely uneasy.

Start with the hurricane post, then take those three traits seriously.
