Why I joined Empower Network
This is a blog post on how and why I joined the Empower Network, and the benefits I have received since joining.

Pre Empower Network
The story actually begins in September of 2011, before Empower Network was available to the general public that I decided that with the amount of debt we had incurred, my wife and I would never be able to retire at an age where we would actually be able to enjoy the retirement lifestyle.
My wife and I love the warm weather and the beaches, and I love to fish, and I mean really fish, not for the fish the size of a loaf of bread , but the kind of fish that weigh as much as a Cadillac. Now that is real fishing.
We also would like to travel to exotic destinations around the world to enjoy the different cultures and their cuisines.
Why They Joined Empower Network
But at the time this was not going to happen any time soon. In a matter of fact it appeared that we might be able to call it quits from our jobs when we are both in the hundreds, and I am not talking about 101 or 102, I am talking about 140 or 150.
Let’s face it going to a beach when you reach the hundreds is really not that sexy or fun at all. Wheelchairs are hell in the sand, and the person wiping the drool off my chin every time a pretty girl walked by would become quite annoying to whomever it is that is caring for us, not to mention the other inconveniences caused by extremely old age and the slow movement of the wheelchair in the sand.
I knew something had to change and it needed to change soon. I needed a job I could do from home, that I could do on my own time.
So I did a search on the internet for making money at home and realized that there were thousands of different opportunities online. So I told my wife that I was going to start making money online and all she said is I needed to make enough money to cover my expenses, and as long as that happened, she was OK with it.
I went crazy signing up for different business opportunities, how could I resist them. After all I was going to get rich tomorrow, and all I had to do was get out my wallet make a payment and press a few keys on the computer, that their 2 year old daughter could do. I was an Internet Marketers dream. I was the fish they were searching for and I could be caught with nothing but fishing line, they didn’t even need a hook.
Found Empower Network
While in my quest for the perfect online opportunity, I found a person on the Warrior Forum that I believed would change my life forever. I actually came across him earlier in my quest but his coaching was way out of my price range. But at this time he was offering group coaching for a very inexpensive fee. So I signed up with him and found he was promoting Empower Network, so I signed up, no questions asked.
I signed up for every product I could afford at the time. I knew I just hit the jackpot. So I went through the training that was offered on the Empower Network site and the training that my sponsor offered, and started blogging away.
Each blog post was going to be the money maker, but no luck. I did get some very unresponsive leads but no sales, so I quickly became discouraged. I moved on to other things, but in the back of my mind I always felt like Empower Network was the real thing. So I started listening more and more to Dave Wood and/or Dave Sharp, and each time I truly felt empowered. These guys were the real thing, in my mind they truly created Empower Network for the average guy. They told no lies, and they explained exactly what you had to do to succeed. So I finally gave up everything other than Empower Network and really began to focus all my time in making money. The problem was I had a hard time distinguishing what an income producing activity was. I felt if I was listening to webinars, and audios that I was growing my business, WRONG! I learned a lot, but I was not producing any results. I would literally spend 40 hours at my job and another 40 hours at home on the computer.
Needless to say, my wife was not very happy with me. I always told her that I will start making money soon and she would be able to retire, which covered me for a couple more days until there was a yard to mow, or other household chores that were being neglected.
Eventually I cut my time down by hiring a couple of great workers from Odesk that wrote most of my blogs and did my Craigslist advertising, which freed up more time for me to concentrate on other things and spend less time on the computer.
I seriously believe that everyone should get involved with Empower Network. With the low start-up costs and the value you get for your money, it really is a no brainer. The support is incredible, everyone is there to help out anytime I need it, and the owners are really incredible. I have nothing bad to say about Empower Network, and I truly believe that someone who joins and is willing to put the work in for 90 days, will never have to work hard again in their life. I believe that they will truly be financially free.
