Renault Laguna Carjacks Handicapped Driver Starts Cruising at 125 MPH
Franck Lecerf was driving his Renault Laguna that had been specially modified for him so he could drive the Renault Laguna with his handicap.
While he was on his way to the grocery store the Renault Laguna malfunctioned and the accelerator was stuck, and Frank could not stop or turn off the car. Every time he hit the brake the car would go faster until he was cruising at 125 MPH. He could not shift gears or take the key out to turn the Renault Laguna off, what a nightmare.

Thank god he had his cell phone with him and the police on speed dial. If he was here in California he would have gotten a ticket for talking on cell phone while driving,reckless driving and speeding. LOL
Police Convoy with Speeding Renault Laguna
After contacting the police and explaining his predicament, they were quickly able
to make a convoy in front of him to keep the freeway clear for the runaway Renault
Laguna. Frank was very fortunate that he was on the freeway with no construction
zones in an unpopulated portion of France.

The police did a great job of guiding the runaway Renault Laguna across half of eastern France. Three tollbooths were on the freeway and they had the vision to open up the toll booth barrier gates so runaway Renault Laguna could squeeze through the tollbooth while zipping by at 125 MPH.
The total length of the harrowing trip to the local grocery store turned into almost 150 miles of freeway starting in Abbeville, France and ending in Alveringem,Belgium, when the Renault Laguna finally ran out of gas.
