Acknowledge Achieving Goals in Your Life
Most of us are quicker to see our own failures and shortcomings than we are acknowledge our achievements and successes. When we accomplish something we feel good about it for a few days or weeks, but then we move on to new goals and new desires.
All too quickly we leave behind the good feelings of accomplishment; we forget that we have even achieved those things. Our new desires and wants become our focus and we let go of the success vibration that was created from the past goals we achieved. This is a complete waste of powerful success energy.
If we focus only on the not yet attained, we unconsciously feed the mind the idea that we are lacking. We can reuse success energies from past achievements and goals met again and again, with very positive results, but unfortunately, we rarely do so.
A woman once asked her friend, do you think I could ever achieve my goals?” When asked by her friend to describe her goals, She replied that one of her goals was to live in a beautiful house, her second goal was to fly back to England to see parents and relatives she hadn’t seen in fourteen years, and her third goal was to have a meaningful relationship with someone special. As she was a single mother with three children and lived on very slender means, these goals seemed impossible to her at the time. By controlling her Mind Power, she hoped to learn powerful new ways to create a better reality.
Mind Power and Goals
She had been assured that, by using mind powers, she could indeed achieve her goals. Her friend didn’t really think of the woman again until about a year later when I received a phone call from her. she said excitedly, “you’ll never guess what happened I now live in a new house with a swimming pool a fabulous yard and view.” Her friend told she was very happy for her, but she wasn’t finished. “Not only that, but I was in England for three weeks and saw my family. And.. you could tell, she was leaving the best for last, I’m in the most fabulous relationship. I’m in love, really in love !
Build on Your Attained Goals
Needless to say, they looked forward to seeing each other again. Months passed before they did meet again, they met at the airport and the woman that had achieved all the wonderful goals such a short time ago didn’t appear to be the bright, exuberant woman she was expected to be. Incredulously the first thing out of the mouth of the fortunate one was, why doesn’t mind power work for me?
“Why doesn’t mind power work for me?” she repeated. Her friend couldn’t believe what she was hearing, and said, “Listen, correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you the woman who one year ago wanted to live in a nice house, travel to England, and have that, meaningful relationship? Wasn’t that you?”
She looked at her friend in embarrassment. “Oh, she said “I forgot about now I achieved those goals!” Forgot about that! How could anyone forget about it ?
