Powerful tool for growth and success: Gratitude!

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Gratitude is an amazing powerful tool and many people do not give it the importance and value and therefore they lose a simple and effective way of making their life better without having to spend any money; just a bit of their time such as few minutes per day in the morning or evening.

So what is gratitude? In just a simple words it is an attitude, a choice, a habit (formed by repetition) and a powerful, spiritual energy tool that will enable us to:

– attract the things we want

– improve relationships

– transform our life in all areas we focus on such as skills, health, abundance, personal growth etc.

How does Gratitude work? It works simple and is very effective; when we start being grateful for a particular thing what happens is that we focus our energy on that particular thing and focusing on it we just create a momentum that will in time grow exponentially IF we do this every day. Let’s think for example about health or wealth or whatever we decide to be grateful for; when we do it every day, when we are grateful and thankful for what we have – even if it is about a little thing compared to different “standards” we tend to attract more of that particular thing. To be more specific: if for example we express our gratitude for having the funds to cover our bills (it does not matter if we do it with lots of efforts) we will start getting a bit more money, and a bit more and a bit more and after a while money will literally roll in. OK, I know many people will react and will probably say “I tried so many times, and it doesn’t work”. Usually the reason why people do not get results is because they do it in a more mechanical way. The feeling of  gratitude has to be authentic, has to be real, deep and intense. And if it’s done everyday using additional tools such as visualizing and if we keep our hand on our heart chakra when we do this we will get the most out of it. It works, it’s simple and powerful.

How to use Gratitude in our daily life:

– a simple version will require to make a list of minimum 5 important things we are grateful for(can be anything such as health, family, money, life, anything that is important to us);

– next we visualize these things, bask in those thoughts and allow the feeling of gratitude to envelope us, to penetrate us at deep levels;

– than we take action  – which is very important –  by keeping a journal and writing down a few words about the things we are grateful for. Sometimes would be helpful to call somebody or send an email and express our gratitude for what that person has done for us or has helped us with.

Personally I am grateful for my family, my life, my health, my dreams, and being a member of Empower Network – this is just an example of the 5 things I am grateful for but of course there are more than these 5 things I mentioned above.

Very Important: do not let yourself be mislead by the simplicity of gratitude: it is simple but very powerful and it works amazingly good.
