Haters Will Make You Famous

So why would I join Empower Network despite what the haters say? I’ve been praying and meditating about EN for months. I’ve looked for multiple reasons NOT to join. I’ve listened to the haters but what stood out was the peace I felt when I prayed about it and those who love it encouraging me to join even if I didn’t join with them. In fact, a couple of VERY good friends of mine stepped aside so I could join with the person who I gave my word to that I would join with him. Their unselfish acts allowed me the opportunity to renew a friendship and break down a barrier that had been holding me back. That spoke volumes to me about what people were learning on the inside.

One thing that my friends who embrace Empower Network keep raving about (and raving is the right word) is the training. When I joined I made the commitment, to myself, that I would follow the training to the letter and not try to reinvent the wheel. The reason I am creating this post, right now, is because I am following one off the prompts in the second training video.

If you’re looking for a breakthrough in life then you must be willing to step out of your comfort zone and take a step of faith. Multiple times, over the last week, I’ve been seeing and hearing the word commitment everywhere. It’s something that God was impressing upon me in a big way. Imagine my surprise, and elation, when I first logged into Empower Network and found that the core training was based on that very thing. If that’s not confirmation I don’t know what is. Lesson learned? Trust God when you ask for something!

Empower the haters to spread the word?

If I’ve learned anything, over the last 10 years as a full time home business owner, is that you cannot let fear of what people think stand in your way. If you allow the threat of haters to influence your decisions, then what? You have to be willing to step outside of your comfort zone and do the things that others will not do.  You have to want this so bad that you are willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. If you are not willing to bulldoze the hurdles and obstacles, when confronted with them, then you can plan on a frustrating experience as a home business owner.

I’ve also learned that haters generate traffic, exposure, leads, sales and sign ups for you. I’ve had people who have contacted me, more times than I can count, because someone told them something negative about me. What they found, through first had interaction, was that what they heard was not the truth.

Three things that will propel you to TRUE success, and probably create more haters include…

1.) Social Media Interaction – If you want to build a successful business, in any niche market, it requires people to join your business and/or buy your products. If you don’t have that then you don’t have a home based business. You have a frustrating hobby that’s not producing a lot of cash, if any at all. You have to be willing to engage people. A great way to learn the basics is through a resource known as IBO Toolbox. This is a home business bases social networking and advertising resource that works perfectly to learn the ropes as a social networker.

2.) Quality Content Creation – When you create a blog post, image or video that you are going to use to market, do so with AMAZING value. Don’t be afraid to give away the farm or say what’s on your mind. Once of my favorite teachers in the world of Internet marketing says it best… “Always lead with your best stuff!” If there’s something you know how to do or something of great value you know how to find don’t ASSUME that others know it too. The majority don’t. When you share that information you are building trust that will lead to long term relationships and business connections.

3.) Understand The Power At Your Finger Tips – Wherever you are reading this post, right now, you are using an electronic device that has given you direct access to an unlimited number of people you can share with. You have access to the WORLD in the power of your hand. What you choose to share with the world is going to determine how much it’s shared on Twitter, Facebook, etc. If you want people to share your stuff then create something worth sharing. Find your core purpose and share from there. If you know how to build something, give people the blueprint. If you know how to answer a question or solve a problem, use a blog, video or other form of content sharing to do so. What you give will determine what you receive. How much you give will also determine how much you receive. If you want to receive big, then give big!

How to get haters to spread the word about you

In short, follow these tips. Get plugged into a network of people who are doing big things and learn from them. Seek out a coach or mentor who is willing to share big with you! The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line. You can build barriers between you and the people you want to reach or you can break down those walls and go directly to the source. The choice is yours… choose wisely!

I joined Empower Network because my TRUE friends were kind enough to share this with me, despite the haters. I will be utilizing this to become a better full time home business owner, coach and mentor to those who trust in me to share value with them.

If you don’t have haters then you are playing to your full potential!
