The excitement in Darren’s voice that morning was electric, as it should have been.  He was becoming a master of speaking things into existence!

On the other end of the line, my friend and mentor shouted “thank you, thank you, thank you… gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.”

I stood there listening… speechless as chills caused the hair on my arms to stand upright.

The vibration of his proclamation was so intense that, all at once, the power flashed in our apartment, the call was disconnected and even my daughter’s cell phone, in the other room, squawked like a bird that just crashed into a clean window.

I looked at her, she looked at me…

… and I remember thinking to myself at that moment, “If this works for Darren, it will work for me.”

But there was a problem… I couldn’t FEEL gratitude.

I had allowed myself to become bitter over recent events.  That bitterness and anger overtook all other emotions in my subconscious mind.  It’s all I could focus on.

I became enraged and went off on a tangent of the most awkward, thoughtless gratitude I could give…

… I was going to force God’s hand, even if it killed me.

Do you remember the scene from Forrest Gump when Lieutenant Dan did this?

That pretty much sums it up! But here’s what’s interesting…

Something happened during that fit of rage, or whatever it was the day I had my first “Lieutenant Dan” moment.

I woke up the next morning, and for the first time in several months, I felt peace again!

As we buckled up to head for UK hospital, where my wife was working another travel assignment to keep the family afloat, I gave thanks for another amazing day that the day would be financially prosperous. I proclaimed loud and strong, feeling in the physiology of my body… my wife looking over at me like I’d lost my mind.

Just then my phone rang… it was a new prospective client looking for the services I was offering at that time.

From there I began to embrace the power of speaking things into existence.

I began to pour through books that offered example of proclamations or incantations that I could use or modify to make my own.

I have the magic wallet of the Spirit.  My wallet is crammed and jammed with dollar bills, five dollar bills, ten dollar bills, twenty dollar bills, fifty dollar bills and 100 dollar bills, it’s always overflowing with cash and currency.

I give thanks that the millions which are mine by Divine Right, now pour in and pile up under grace in perfect ways.

The way has been made plain, one only needs to implement the process!

I am fearless in letting money go out, knowing God is my immediate and endless supply.

All that is mine by Divine Right is now released and reaches me in great avalanches of abundance, under grace in miraculous ways.

I now release the gold-mine within me. I am linked with an endless golden stream of prosperity which comes to me under grace in perfect ways.

I now let go of worn-out conditions and worn-out things. Divine order is established in my mind, body and affairs. “Behold, I make all things new.”

I give thanks for my whirlwind success. I sweep all before me for I work with the Spirit and follow the Divine Plan of my life.

I am harmonious, poised and magnetic. I now draw to myself my own. My power is Gods power and is irresistible!

The “four winds of success” now blow to me my own. From North, South, East and West comes my endless good.

I now exercise my fearless faith in three ways – by thinking, speaking and acting. I am unmoved by appearances, therefore appearances move.

I am in perfect harmony with the working of the law, for I know that Infinite Intelligence knows nothing of obstacles, time or space. It knows only completion.

My ditches will be filled at the right time, bringing all that I have asked for, and more!

I give thanks that I now receive the righteous desires of my heart. Mountains are removed, valleys exalted and every crooked place made straight. I am in the Kingdom of fulfillment.

My good is a perfect and permanent idea in Divine Mind, and must manifest for there is nothing to prevent.

And then there is my all time favorite from Tony Robbins…

God’s wealth circulate in my life, it flows to me in avalanches of abundance!  All of my needs, desires and goals are met instantaneously by infinite intelligence for I am one with God and God is everything!

As it is written, as it is within, so it is without.  By implementing these proclamations and incantations into your life, everyday, you can overcome anything and develop the faith that moves mountains!

Remember, words have the power of life and death.  Your word is your wand… but it only works when you wave it with consistency!
