The best password manager would be a system that handles all the bazillions of passwords that we have to have to use to get onto the various programs that we need to get into. I don’t know about you, but I write all my passwords and usernames on a sheet of paper, and it doesn’t look pretty!
How many times have you misplaced that piece of paper, and forgot the password you needed to get onto the program? It almost gets to the point that you use the same username and password for all the different places you need to get into! I mean why deal with all those different passwords, when one can do?
Is there a better way? Yes, there is a system out there for everyone to use that can manage your passwords. It is called lastpass. You can download it for free at lastpass.com.
What can lastpass do for you? Well it can take all the frustration and hassle of managing all your passwords. It is a secure password manager. Only you need to do is add your password to lastpass vaults. There is a small snowflake image that will appear at the top right of your computer. That is lastpass’s icon. Click on that on it can allow you access to all your data!
Lastpass will log into your site for you! The data is encrypted and decrypted locally making your information safe! You can use it on all devices like cellphones, and tablets!
The great thing about lastpass is that it has a password generator. Once you decide to use it for various sites, it will generate a unique password that will look something like this….IK2EZnY810, and it will be unique for each site you go on.
You do not need to remember any of those passwords, all you need to remember is your master password that you generate to get onto lastpass. Just remember to log off from lastpass when you are done.
