Have you ever felt like the moment is not good enough?

You want to feel more, a richer experience.. Your mind
tells you that the experience you are
searching for lies outside of you..

This is something that most people go through. It is the mind
games which can at times can deceive you.

This is how I felt for years. I became bitter, cold, and distant
to some degree. I was unfriendly to most and my heart and
eyes had glazed with the dangerous sheet of ice called indifference.

I stopped caring some what and I couldn’t find anything inspiring
to live for.  I was on construction sites praying and hoping silently
there was a way out of my situation.

All I wanted was something real
and awesome to live for.

I couldn’t take the stinglive the dream 2 of feeling mediocre. I knew I was meant
to do something great with my life, and I couldn’t stand not
doing it- whatever that was.

The myth is in order to feel the experience of ‘well being’, you must have
checked off all the million and one things on the accomplishment list.
You know the list.

The idea is then you will be a ‘good person’ then you will be a person who
is worthy of love and respect from others.

This is the kind of  information you have to defend yourself against.

The kind of misinformation that is being thrown at you
on a daily basis.

Just the mere fact that there is other life out there, who experiences stuff too
is a cool enough realization in itself.

What does the society really teach you, anything useful? Sure some good
stuff, but a lot of it is not the information that will help you lead a high quality
life.

Just like you, I too was taught to adopt the habit of trading my time for money,
we call this a job. This is supposed to be something healthy and good to aim at.
You got to be kidding me..

Imagine you are born with 1,000 golden coins. Every month you throw one in the river,
which carries it far, far away. Never to be seen again. This is like what most people do
with their energy they just throw it away. Not realizing it is their golden coins.

In the society we respect people with jobs because they are hardworking and not
lazy.

Problem was something I realized when I was about eighteen years old.

I was in a class in school. The teacher had us doing some work on the
computers, some students a couple ages below more were talking among
themselves, and they were stressed.

They were saying how they needed to make sure all their grades were something like
a 98 or higher to insure the highest possible class rank, which in turn would help them with
scholarships.

They were aimed at getting into a good school, and they needed the scholarship
money to help make the goal possible.

This is the kind environment you and I are born into, and brought up in.
It showed me one thing about people.

How hungry they are for success,
and how hard they are willing to work to insure they are a success.

The younger students went on to tell me, how if they graduated from a good school,
it would increase their odds of getting a good job.

Seemed fair enough and logical enough to me. The question that
I had was this, “Is that really your dream?”

Now I didn’t say it at the time. Because I didn’t think they were open to having that conversation,
so I kept my thoughts to myself.

I think sometimes you need to get what you think you want. So when you get it you realize it’s
not actually what you want. Because then an opening can be made, where you may become humbled
and open up to other possibilities for you.leavingtheratrace

You see those students had that dream in front of them all the time. The teachers reinforced it,
their friends reinforced it, their parents reinforced. So even if they had another dream in their mind,
it would be hard to pursue that against the massive force they were up against.

You may remember this time in your life it is very confusing, tricky, and a bit chaotic to say the
least. Lots of emotions, lots of energy, and a lot of commotion. When there is so much noise
it is very easy to get lost in the crowd and becomes difficult to hear  your own voice and intuition.

It wasn’t easy

As much as I would like to tell you it was always easy for me, it wasn’t.
I ended up in the way of life I didn’t want for years, much longer than I wanted.

It was aggravating trading my time for money. It can feel like I am committing a
crime against myself. It is like my core self is saying, “How can you do this to me?”

Maybe you feel like this, like you have in a way betrayed your own self.
That you feel like your loyalty is misplaced. Like you have trusted the wrong
people and because of it now you have ended up in a lifestyle you are not
happy with.

Because that is how I felt and I couldn’t take it..

I was working so much, I was so busy. I was not being lazy. But guess what I was not
living my dream. My dream wasn’t to work my life away. My dream was not to hand over
my power to someone else.

All that did was ignite a fire in me. Because I knew I deserved more out of life, I knew
I was worth more. So if you are in a tough spot, where you are struggling, in some
discomfort, because you know you deserve more. It’s okay because there is
more opportunity for you, if and when the timing is right for you.

You see just like you are feeling these feelings in this moment. There are other people
out there who are not so different from you. They have been taught the same things
you have been taught, and they have ended up somewhere they really don’t want to be.

Their life is short and they can’t stand not doing something that they
don’t believe in one hundred percent.

They are searching, looking for another option, looking for someone to show up for
them, and let them know there is another way.

A way to make money without feeling like you are handing your life over
to someone else. A feeling I’m sure your can’t stand.

Because you know you’re worth more and that it is a crime to
not place a high value on yourself, on your time, and on your life.

People should be begging you to work for them, not the other way around.

You should not be happily throwing yourself at them. This is your life
we’re talking. There is nothing sexy or cool about being careless
with your energy.

Think about this have you ever met someone who can’t say no to people?

Someone says, “Hey do you mind doing me this favor?” The say, “Sure.” Then another
person says, “Hey Karl you mind watching my dog next Friday and Saturday, I have
to go to a NASCAR race?”

Karl had planned to go out with some friends, but he decides he doesn’t want to let
his other buddy down. So he ditches his plans, and says ‘he’ll watch the dog’.

Now when next Friday comes around Karl is boiling mad. he can’t believe
he did this again, he always allows himself to get walked on, and he always
puts others needs before his own.

Other people may want you to work for them, and you may even do a really great
job too. But what is it about meeting your needs, and disappointing someone else
in the process if need be?

Or helping them accomplish what they want, and failing to meet your
own needs?

If you are tired of putting yourself second and are ready to take a stand for yourself
then click here to get started.
