psalms

Music moves people and shops know it, which is why they play what they play while you fill a trolley. Saundra Morgan starts a post there and works toward what southern gospel does differently, which is point somewhere rather than simply hold you.

She sings, as a soloist and in a trio, and one post carries a recording of two of them at a radio broadcast with an honest running commentary. She names herself as the one with the pony tail, calls the other woman the beautiful soprano, and admits she sometimes cannot get through a song for wanting to shout.

She shares a piece written by another woman straight after something traumatic, along with that writer's later note about being misread, and handling it that way is generous.

There is a post asking why so many denominations exist and which of them could be right.

Read the gospel music post if you have never understood why anybody loves it.
