All the plants sold and bought were grown in ideal conditions in perfect climates controlled in a greenhouse. Is your house the same? In actuality the very opposite. So why do we torture these cute little oxygen loving living things? We want flowers, color, and a sense of having nature close and in our homes to enjoy.

This is the best of luck and can have a wide variety of things like Cyclamen, African violet, Angel Begonia, Lobelia, Dwarf Gardenia, or Impatiens. Depending on the brightness of the window I would even try growing Hibiscus. Medium light can include low water lovers (less light, less water) like indoor Bromeliad and Kalanchoe. Low light is for Phaelenopsis or moth orchids.

Humidity plays a factor on how your unique indoor micro climate can affect your watering schedule. For the plant itself humidity is a great factor for longevity in orchids. Otherwise, the drier it is the more frequent you need to check on them. After a month the plant will start to adjust to its new home. By then you can figure out how often the plant needs watering by using your good old index finger by sticking it in the dirt. On top it will always be moist so go a little farther where the roots would be in finding the water to soak up. Give time to dry out between waterings and you will have a happy plant and more flowers to call yourself an expert.
