SEO from Google-An introduction

The term SEO refers to Search Engine Optimization. Though seo is not a common term to general internet users, but it’s a term well known to website owners. To state briefly seo is something that helps webpages to find themselves in search engine results. Since google is the most popular search engine provider worldwide right after yahoo, we bring into account seo from google. Generally when we publish a website with an unique URL it’s accessible through it’s URL address, but until and unless it is indexed with search engine, we should not be able to find them with search results using related keywords. There are millions of webpages right there on the internet with similar categories and it’s not actually possible to collect and remember their web addresses. At this point we use to search with keywords in a particular search engine to find a list of websites which is related to our keywords. And search engine use a particular algorithm to rank webpages and decides which webpage should take the first, second, third etc. positions in the list of search results. In order to be found with search engine results for particular keywords a webpage must be optimized with the search engine specification. The term seo does this job for webpages to be optimized with search engine, so that they can take their position in search results. Optimization with the terms of seo from google is a must for every webpage as because it is worthless to become visible in the internet without letting anyone know that you are visible right there.

SEO from Google-Classification

Search Engine Optimization for any webpage can be divided into two parts.

  • On-page optimization
  • Off-page optimization

On-Page Optimization: There are certain rules and regulations for webpages to get verified with seo from google. On-page optimization is one of the most important terms that helps search engine crawler to find a webpage containing certain keywords. All webpages are source of information containing texts, images, videos and so on. Again each webpage has it’s own category. Some pages represent information of a rock band and some represent a pastry shop. So keywords will be different for each webpage and to gain seo from google search result these webpages should declare their keywords related to their content. There are three key factors that must be fulfilled to say that a webpage is on-page optimized.

  • Give your webpage a title
  • Declare meta keywords (example: <meta name=”keywords” content=”HTML, CSS, XML, XHTML, JavaScript” />)
  • Declare meta description (example: <meta name=”description” content=”Free Web tutorials on HTML and CSS” />)

If these three requirements are fulfilled for a webpage then we can say that it is on-page optimized and friendly with the terms of seo from google.

Off-page Optimization: Off-page optimization is the process of creating back-link of a site in other sites’. It is as simple as that and can contribute to gain high page rank seo from google . Here is another important issue that we should remember is that page rank will take effect only for do-follow links and not for no-follow links. No-follow links are links which have a html syntax of <a href=”www.example.com” rel=”no follow”>keyword</a>, while do-follows links have a syntax of <a href=“www.example.com” rel=”do follow”>keyword</a>. So before you place a back-link for your site in a particular site, you should know that either you have permission to place a do-follow link there. Paid text add and banner add are nothing but back-link of a site in another website. The more back-link you have for your site the more likely it is to receive high traffic and high page rank from google as well.

SEO from Google- White Hat Vs Black Hat

Google uses to offer organic search result and rules of seo from google forbid to follow black hat seo process. Black hat seo process includes the use of automatic software to create back-links in different sites automatically within a very short period of time. It is unhealthy because the sites which are used to create back-links are often malicious and are not constructed with the guideline of google. At the same time it is not legal to get thousands of back-links overnight. If google finds a site engaged with this type of activity, they may put it in the sandbox means that particular site will never be counted again for google’s organic search result. On the other hand white hat seo is legal according to the terms of seo from google. But the process to do white hat seo for webpages is still costly and requires a lot of time to establish a website in the first page of google’s search results. But it is the only way to have legal visibility with organic search results. Google also offers a paid position for websites to appear in 1st page of search results.

 Outsourcing for SEO Jobs

White hat seo is a costly process as it requires someone to change Meta tags with the change of webpage contents and also to create back-links in daily basis. But things are changed these days. With the sake of great outsourcing platform like oDesk, it is now possible for website owners to hire a person for remote work at a low cost with a fixed or hourly contract.
