There was this offer on Steam, to buy Trine 2 for 30% of its original price, so it was like 5 Euros or something. I looked at the critics and everyone writes about how amazing the game is. How beautiful and well thought  and how everyone was eager to play it and how when it came out they were extremely pleased.

So I downloaded the demo And here I found myself playing a side scrolling game. They call it a game of action, but it really isn’t that much. It is more a game of puzzles and platforming and this is what I like about it. It is very rewarding to solves all the problems and to push your character to its limits, change his skills to adapt to the situation and more often than none I found myself solving some puzzles with strategies I thought would never work. It is a great game to think out of the box and try new things with your heroes.

So you control one of three heroes, a wizard, a knight and a thief. The wizard is more into levitation and creating objects out of thin air. The thief is more into arrows with special effects and invisibility. The knight is more into direct damage and utilizing his shield or two hand hammer. And of course let us keep in mind that the game supports a coop game play which I haven’t tested yet, but I hear it is great Last but not least the game is amazingly beautiful, the trees, the light, the flowers all of it is like if it was taken out of a kid’s dream !
