My review of a great action game : Darksiders 2

Darksiders II ! You are death! One of the four horseman of the end of times! You have power beyond imagining and you shall use it to restore balance to the world…
This is primarily your main objective in Darksiders II although to do so you will have to clear your brother’s name… Ok… let us start from the beginning!
For the four horseman to be summoned the seals have to be broken… When this is done the force of good, evil and humankind will fight to the end until one race prevails…
However the human race is not as strong as the others and the seals were put aside until the human race was ready to fight… But Abaddon an archangel who was controlled by a darker force broke a seal to summon one horseman and made sure that is was fixed before any other were summoned… So basically a horseman called War came down to earth believing that it was time for the last battle only to find that he was framed and he took the blame for braking the balance… I won’t go into more details because I really do not want to spoil anything and I do want to give you a chance to discover for yourself this really good game…
So at the end of this video we saw that the other three horsemen were coming… one of which is Death…
Unlike his brother War who is a tanky warrior, Death is more of a agile assassin. With his scythes he reaps souls by the dozens!!! When the seal was broken and War was summoned to earth, Death knew that something was off… So he went on a journey (that happens at the same time of War’s) to discover who and how he could save his brother! To say that this game is a great action game would really be an understatement… Not only the fighting mechanics are amazing and fluid but the riddles and dungeons are well thought! I really enjoyed every one of them… A word of advice if you are going through the game for the first time do try to vanquish the Notable Encounters click here for the map
For you will gain gears and weapons well worth of your epic fight and you will cherish the fighting experience. I still remember my fight with Bheithir and I loved every moment of it!
Something else that I like about the game is that if you do not have a gear that is unique you can upgrade it: so basically all of your loots can help you to better what you originally have absorbing it into the original one… Which gives a whole new meaning to grinding… The game is virtually endless with the Crucible of eternity which is an arena where you get to find endless waves of monsters… And to be fare the campaign is quite elaborate and enjoyable… You will jump like a ninja, fight like a God, kill like Death!
I enjoyed every minute I spent on this game and when I discovered it I told myself: “shoot this game is as awesome as Zelda…” to the exception that this one is not geared towards very young people… If you want a real good action game you can but play this game! If you enjoy this trailer you will enjoy the game!
