Decision Making – Effective and Fast as a Ninja!

My golden nugget for today is : fast, effective, ninja style decision making!

I truly believe in the power of clarity. As soon as we can see clearly what we want in our head its only a matter of time before we find a way to get it.

To be able to make a decision really fast you have to be clear on where you are and where you want to be.

Many people want to become rich, without ever defining what rich means to them.

They say they want a better relationship with their spouse or husband. But what does it really mean ? Is going out without the kids? Is it taking a weekend to cultivate their love in a resort?

Decision making starts with clarity. And clarity in all the aspects of your life! What kind of relationship do you want ? What kind of spirituality do you want? What kind of friendship do you want? What kind of lifestyle do you want?

Once you get clear on what you want in life. Decision making becomes as easy as a walk in the park.

When something comes your way and you have to make a decision the rule is simple:  if it pulls you towards what you want and  towards your goals you accept it, if it pulls you away from your goals you reject it .

For instance I support a couple of charities I really believe in. But I receive every week letters from all kinds of charities. When the letters come from charities I support I donate gladly when they don’t I can say no without ever feeling remorse or doubt.

So in a nutshell: If it pulls you towards your goal it’s definitely a yes! If not it’s a no!

I will leave you this. A rocket is off course 99% of the time. All it does is get feedback, corrects its trajectory and continue going forward. When you make a decision, be ready to get some feedback and if you need to, do the tweaking and adjustment that needs to be done and keep moving forward!
