James Richardson

Low performance is a state rather than a shortage of ability, and James Richardson has clearly spent time examining his own. His argument is that what stops people is not missing skill or intelligence but the condition they are in when they sit down, and he gets specific about how that condition feels from inside.

His blog promotion posts are structured and practical. Four steps beginning with email, which he puts first on purpose, and a separate piece on using Twitter to move a post rather than merely to announce it.

He covers a search feature launched inside a social network, explaining that it only searched what already sat on the platform, and the piece is more useful than the announcement it reports.

There is a post naming the single biggest trap in home business, and a run of material on fear that borrows from writers who have thought hard about risk.

Read the low performance post before the promotion ones, because tactics do very little for somebody in the wrong state.
