It’s important to examine what people will be searching for before you start to write.  You can research this at the Google Adwords link (adwords.google.com).  Just use your Google login ID, or set up a new account free of charge.  Simply type in the keyword phase that you want to write about, and Google will let you know how many searches there are for that particular keyword phrase.  You don’t want to be wasting your time writing about something that nobody’s searching for! Be sure to insert your keyword phrase in your title.  Use that same keyword phrase as much as possible without being too repetitive. It’s most important to put the keyword phrases in your title, sub-title, and first and last sentence.

Article Marketing Tip #2: Provide valuable content.
It’s important to remember that your reader is viewing your article because they have a problem they’re trying to solve. Pitched on your opportunity at this point will simply compel them to click away.  When you can provide a solution to your reader’s problem, you have their interest and desire to look forward into what you have to offer.

Article Marketing Tip #3: Your Resource Box is most important.
The box at the end of the article is the resource box, or signature box.  Here is where you are allowed to insert your link to your blog or website where you can drive traffic to start generating income!  Many directories will tell you to write about yourself here. However, you actually don’t want to write about yourself if you want the reader to click your links.  Put yourself in your reader’s position; would you care enough to keep reading to find out personal junk about your author?  I know I wouldn’t!  Instead, make the signature box a continuation of your article, keeping the flow continuous so your reader will keep reading and become interested in more information from you (like your money page link).

Article Marketing Tip #4: Link your article to a personal blog post.
A ready-made blogging system could be a good place to start.  You will want a system with a high alexa rating because Google will rank posts with high ratings higher on Google. Once you’re acquainted with blog posting, then I recommend putting similar version of the blog post into an article directory.  The professionals use article spinning software, which will spin the article for you and submit to hundreds of directories at once, creating thousands of backlinks to your blog post.
